Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

I am in for whole foods and saltlick. Do we have to sign up for the salt lick on their website?

Has there been any paring down of the activity list or we just going to seperate out at the event.

Okay, gotcha down for that.

The rest of the events, including the Salt Lick, will be noted on the registration web site. You will have a chance to pick, choose, and pre-pay using that site.

Note of advice: I would register, pick, choose, and pre-pay as soon as possible if you are a confirmed attendee, especially for the pre-paid events because participation will be limited as noted in post #1 for those.

Cool. Both of these are noted on page one.

That means that RSVP'ing for the Central Market Foodie tour is officially closed, unless opushomes' and MarshaB's arrival time on Friday do not allow them to make the tour.

Just so everyone is completely aware, if you are signing up for the Central Market Foodie tour and/or the CCC/Lockhart BBQ run, vendor-provided transportation to these two events will be mandatory; however due to the generosity of Randy Petersen, this and other vendor-provided transportation for the weekend will be free of charge. Regrettably, the logistics do not offer another solution than making the vendor-transportation to these two events mandatory. In all other cases, you will be given the option of using your own vehicles or hitching a ride with one of the locals on page one.

Also, I want to run something by the Platinum members who have RSVP'd for the CCC Tour. We are definitely going to be limited to 30 folks total by the CCC management team. While they would dearly like to have every Platinum member who wants to come be able to, it just cannot be accommodated from a security and operational standpoint. So, 30 is it; however, I have a proposal that I'd like to run by this group. We can probably get every Platinum member on the flying stand-by list into the building if you are willing to come by yourself instead of bringing a +1 as well. Of course, if your +1 is a Platinum member anyway, then they would qualify.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

My plus 1 is a buddy who is a SPG P member. He is not sure and I will surely advise asap. If that becomes the case I would welcome another fellow SPG P member to attend. My take.

My husband would be disappointed to be brought to TX and not attend whatever I attend.

Is the registration site up yet? If so, I can't find the URL.

Nope. Not yet. It is still a work in progress, but I hope to have it up close to the New Year.

Does this mean that non-plats cannot go to Lockhart on their own?

Not at all. One coach will be leaving from the CCC to go to Lockhart. If you are in this group, the vendor-provided transportation option is not optional. Another coach will be leaving directly from the Sheraton. Everyone else who wants to go to Lockhart will have an opportunity to catch this coach, ride with one of the locals, or use their rental cars/own vehicles.

However, we are going to try and divide everyone up into groups of 20 - 30 and send them to different restaurants on a rotation basis, so that we do not descend on each restaurant like a band of hungry locusts.

Best regards,

William
