(but I had to drive later that night) ... No problem, we'll coordinate closer in as to time, meeting place, etc. I visited some of the stands before the building re-opened, so am looking forward to seeing what it looks like inside the building, all redone, etc.

Yes for HH/dinner, no for the market
Whatever you do, do not choose Banana Cafe - the service there is terrible, and they won't be able to handle a larger group...

I'm interested in joining in for dinner on November 22. Barracks Row is in my work neck-of-the-woods.

Wirelessly posted (goingaway's phone: BlackBerry8900/4.6.1.231 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)
Any suggestions for venue as you are familiar with the area?

There are many choices. Here's a brief summary:
Belga Cafe: Belgian food
Capitol Hill Tandoor & Grill: Indian and Pakistani
Cafe 8: Mediterranean
Trattoria Alberto: Northern Italian
Jordan's 8: Grill and Sushi
The Old Siam: Thai food
My suggestions: I have not tried Belga Cafe or Jordan's 8 however, both places have good menus. I would like to try one of these. The Old Siam has good Thai food in a modern setting.
Preferences anyone?

I looked at the menus and reviews and am leaning toward Belga Cafe. Before I finalize the choice, though, I'd welcome additional input.

Unfortunately or fortunately, I cannot attend as I will be in Asia utilizing another economy saver frequent flyer ticket.

I will try to check Jordan's 8 this week to see if they are able to handle 13+ people. The Old Siam can accommodate groups. So can Capitol Hill Tandoor & Grill.
