OK, so for official records:

The MVP Gold 75K Credential Arrival Celebratory Dinner
Celebrating the arrival of the DYKWIA cards and luggage tags of jackal, beckoa, and BOB W
Date: Monday, February 7, 2011
Time: 5:30pm at the Alaska Airlines Board Room at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (meet at the Alaska Airlines ticket counter at 5:30; + means member and * means guest [max 2 guests per member])
and
7:00pm at Suite 100 Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge, 1000 East Dimond Blvd., Ste 100, Anchorage, AK 99515 under party name FlyerTalk (10 seats reserved)

Confirmed:
jackal+
beckoa+
BOB W+
ANC RED-EYE+ (PP; no guesting ability)
AKronin* (+1*?)
Jazon256* (+1*?)
kayet*
jplenny* +1*

No need to be 75K, MVPG, or even MVP to attend. Elite travelers of airlines beginning with a U may be, umm, handled by certain attendees.

[It appears we currently have one more guest than allowed; we'll need to confirm if everyone is planning on showing up at 5:30 or make alternate arrangements.]

I'm tempted to bring my +1 just to spite this sexist language and assumption about my status.

Anyway, Suite 100 is one of my top 3 choices for ANC (Yak & Yeti is actually one too) so the change is perfectly fine by me!

Well, depending on what BOB W thinks about Suite 100's new corkage policy, we may yet move to Yak & Yeti...

They're ill-suited to accommodate our size of group anyway, and yes, their hours are the only reason I don't eat there more often than I do - it takes a bit of planning usually Plus when they are open they are full...

It changed about a year ago and I'm not happy but can live with it. The food makes up for that little flaw.

Of course! jackal will add you to the list, and adjust the reservation if that becomes necessary. The more the merrier!

Only if we can hold the after-party at your place!

(j/k—I somehow doubt we'll be in the shape to drive to the valley after dinner. )

Duly added. AKronin and Jazon256: are you guys planning in bringing your +1s? If so, we'll need to up the reservation's table size. Let me know...

Glad you saw the thread

Someday we'll do the voyage to your humble abode- and will be pretty schweet as I can have someone pick me up and drop me off, as they have to drive past where I live

Are you planning on meeting us at the BR at 530 PM for the pre-party?

Might be good to let the BR know we have a couple folks coming in advance, so they don't freak out... and perhaps we can have them save some soup for us
