It was great to see you all last Sunday. Thank you to the locals for taking time to come out and have a meal and to visit.

Thanks to everyone who turned up - it was great. And also, great meeting jackal again at the ANC airport!

3 more flights tomorrow and I will be back to my home on the east coast (SJC-DEN, DEN-ORD, ORD-PIT)

Say, 5:30pm? Anyone up for something near the airport?

Thinking perhaps Bear Tooth...reasonably-priced and centrally located.

I have a 4 PM appointment with my dentist to replace an old, cracked filling. Seriously, I really do. I'm not sure if I will be able to eat or not. Perhaps something with a straw.

Call me with the final choice of restaurant, although I would go for Peanut Farm or Gwennie's. Closer to the airport and more likely to be seated right away, especially at that time of day.

Soooo... Bob may be forced to endure a liquid diet tonight, eh????

Why do I think he'll manage somehow?

....that is presuming the wine list at the chosen restaurant is up to his discriminating standards

fwiw, my phone isn't working and can be reached via message to the desk this morning at the Sheraton (room 1216) and later today/tomorrow at the Marriott ANC.

looking forward to seeing some old & new friends

Gwennie's is certainly, er, authentic Alaskan food...

Will call with final choice, although I'm quite craving a Rosemary Burger from Bear Tooth Grill!

(Or we could see a movie in the theatrepub side... )

I won't have time for a movie this evening. I will need to go feed the dogs, all three of them.

Was just kidding. Heading in to staff meeting here in a few minutes. When I get out and pick up HeathrowGuy, we'll conference on where to go and give you a call.

Anyone else want to join, shoot me an email at [myhandle]@mail.flyertalk.com or PM me and include your email address in the PM.

Will be in town but working the whole time you're here. Not 100% sure I'll be at the airport when your flight arrives, so give me a call or text when you get in (if you still have my number from last time; if not, PM me).

Look forward to at least saying hi in passing!

hi also coming to ANC this weekend... last minute MR from DCA. Good times

Doesn't look like I'll be able to take advantage of the DO, so any other suggestions on what to do. (In on CO309 on Friday, back out on Sun at 1:30 am)

Much appreciate any advice...

Unfortunately, I'll be on a pseudo-MR to DEN and won't be back until the 9th. Have fun with the other locals, though!
