Finland's kind of flat. The last glaciers there were probably 10,000 years ago.

On that note, Calvin Worthington is trying so hard to sound as excited as his dad was in the Worthington Fjord commercials, but he's just not doing it for me.

Maybe he should take a shot of the better-than-I-expected Glacierita vodka...

(Glacierita actually is pretty darn good. I'm not a vodka drinker, but I like it because it doesn't have that gasoline taste that most other vodka I've had has. It's worth checking out—they're distributing it out-of-state now. ^)

Or maybe he should stand on his head, eat a bug and wrestle with his dog Spot, actually a tiger.

Nah, the vodka idea is definitely better

Oops, helps if I get the name of the vodka right. It's Permafrost, made by Alaskan Distillery. It is made with glacier water; Glacierita, on the other hand, was Alaska Airlines' short-lived mixer for on-board beverages.

Interesting--you can buy Permafrost online: http://www.melandrose.com/istar.asp?...rch=permafrost

(I hope posting a link about alcohol isn't against the FT TOS. I'm pretty sure it isn't; if it were, half of FT would be in deep crap... )

How could I not?! I behaved though on my flight down and ordered myself a (free sorry for the total chaos and sudden change of info/boarding out of nowhere) baileys & coffee as a respectable early afternoon drink
