Added two new events to be aware of: dinner TONIGHT at Bob's with a spread of Spanish wine courtesy of beckoa...and the tenuous beginnings of a Seward summer DO! See post #1 for details.

Summer 2010: Midnight Sun Do
Dates: TBD (likely June 18/19-20/21, June 25/26-27/28, or July 2/3-4/5)
Itinerary: Fun in the [Midnight] Sun in Anchorage, followed [or preceded] by a relaxing weekend in Seward, Alaska, with wildlife cruises on the bay, hiking into a glacial icefield, and plenty of stunning scenery to last a lifetime! (Please indicate your interest in this thread.)

) on the East Coast June 24-July 8... so I would prefer the dates to not include those... and even the weekend prior may be tough....

Keep in mind that ADK flies 2x a week- would not be opposed to spending more then an hour there- difficulty is work- my schedule is variable and typically work on the weekend...
How long are you in BRW? I could possibly burn more miles... ANC-BRW-ADK-ANC
7.5K*3= 22.5 K for Y...Or 15K + $200 OW ANC-BRW...

I haven't had time to spend more than about 15 minutes a day on FT reading about 10 of the most important threads, not to mention thinking about planning a DO!
Hopefully we can get something thought about and organized here soon.
Not sure I can make the weekend you suggested work for me, but I will see what I can do...
