Brentwood CC is where OJ Simpson used to hold membership at, until they gave him the boot then he started played at Rancho Park instead... Poa Annuas sucks, can't get a true roll when putting, but easy to spin the ball back on At least it is better than Kikuyu grass...

G2g and meet my sister over at terminal 5, she's flying on Dulta...

You're coming to ANC to golf? I can't say I've ever known anyone to come here to golf, though I'm sure it would be somewhat unique to have an 10 p.m. tee time.

Enjoy yourself! I'd offer to meet up, but will be out of town. I'll leave that to the other ANC FTers, who I'm sure will take good care of you!

Will be in HNL departing around 2 PM on the 31st-1st (return 5 AM on 2nd)

I'll be at work on Fri (not sure how late until week before) but might be free that night. And will be @ the BR for pancakes & soup before the flight on Sat.

Actually, the ANC bowl has some very nice golf courses. The River Course at Moose Run and Settler's Bay are very nice to play and and the views are spectacular^O'Malley's is not bad either.

Humpy's update:

They will open on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Normal hours will be 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM. I will be picking up my daughter Sunday night, arriving on AS 131. After the BR closes you can find me at Humpy's...if I can find a seat. It's kind of small...and at the end of terminal B, near the rotunda.

Isn't there a deck-building party going on that evening?

If I'm in town, and if the deck-building party doesn't interfere, then I may be interested in joining ya...

YGPM!
There is a deck building going on, but I have not heard that anyone volunteered to help.

In any case, my daughter is arriving on AS 131 at 10;10 Sunday night. I will be in the BR until it closes and then will go to Humpy's until she arrives.

I will have the joists in place by Saturday. After that it's just a matter of a whole lot of screwing going on.

Has beckoa yet figured out how to get rid of his apartment and make the BR his official full time residence?

Three meals a day, all he wants to drink, and apparently the only hurdles he has left is finding a place to put his bed and getting a key to the place so that he can come and go as he wishes. That last situation seems almost to be in place already.

All of the blocks are in place. The lumber will be delivered today. Billscann is coming over tonight around 7. If anyone is around and wants to "screw around" you are welcome to join us. By the time he gets here I should have all of the joists in place, so the only things left to do are screw the deck boards down while I make the steps. I will need some help getting them into place.
