Perfectly happy with mine - easy to spell, easier to remember, often called by it because other people like it, and it's a memorial to a pet I loved.

Absolutely not. Within the military branches, a "lifer" is someone who envisions a career in the service. In my case, I was referring to Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, USA, where I met my wonderful wife, the lifelong love of my life, and where we raised our two sons.
While we moved off-island after 19 years, Saipan will always be a part of who we are, and have a place in our hearts. 💚 🇲🇵
