I had a delightful time yesterday, despite the rain. Thanks to checking FT, I met seanthepilot and Moomba for drinks at the Conrad lounge. Not free I discovered, even though I'm HH Gold, but great cheeses and chocolates, and conversation, of course. Then off to the Swissotel New Asia Bar. I'm sure this is the "hottest" spot in town, especially if the volume of the music is the judge. After introductions, and before we got completely hoarse, it was off to La Pau Sat, to await the arrival of violist, bseller and Lori_Q. We were sorry to hear about WWBGD's passport problems. I'll say an airline prayer and I hope you are currently now 1/2 way across the Pacific. Please post an update.

The good news, it has stopped raining!

Be glad, F'in United downgraded me from business to a middle seat in SQ economy on my NRT-SIN leg as the UA flight was delayed getting into NRT

Good luck to WWBGD and Alexa!

I'll see everyone for dinner tonight Saturday.

Well, it was a pleasure catching up with everybody and handing Freddie Jr. off to GFowler who will take grand care of him in the Presidential Suite we have heard such nice things about.

This was a really fun allbeit way too short evening, and greetings to all the nice people I met from the SQ lounge here in SIN ...

Good morning! I made it SIN! I'm just checking to see if there are any plans made for today or this evening. I am at the Conrad. Cheers.

It was fun--glad to have met everybody last night, and enjoy the rest of your weekends/safe travels back.

Paging Willie...what happened in the end?

There is something going on at the Marriott (Orchard MRT, Scott and Orchard), meet at lobby 1PM Sunday, 14 Jan. Decide on the spot what to do.

Nice to see most of you at dinner Saturday and then after drinks and then after-after drinks and then after-after-after drinks.

Good luck in the City of Angels Sean. Safe trip back to the LBC Newself. Enjoy the trip back to jolly Manchester you-know-who. Really enjoy the new SQ F seats f4free and son. Thanks for organizing gfowler-ord-1k.

Another Great SIN weekend. I really enjoyed meeting everyone, although the weekend never seems long enough.

We missed mjm, Sweet Willie, and so many others. But, there'll be another one...

... when is your long weekend in January in '08?

Thanks RNO and the others. It actually was not a lot of work to organize the dinner -- a few phone calls, postings and a scouting trip. I am willing to do it again and the second time will be easier.

The MLK holiday is always the 3rd Monday in January so next year the SIN Do dates should be Fri-Mon, Jan 18-21 2008.

Freddie, Jr and I are in the SIN TG/SATS lounge on the way to the Conrad Presidential suite.
