Bseller, so what was the outcome with Boris' passport problems?? Hope everyone had a great time, and that the rain let up. Can't wait to read a full report!

It was cool to see all of you. I really enjoy to put a face to the numerous FTers, and that's always one of the major reason why I join FT DOs.
I hope to see some of you at the ZRH DO in September!
Thank you for the hosts, for having organized the Do!
And gfowler-ord-1k, I'll pay you the beer in ZRH ok? Just join the DO! You have to use your SWUs anyway, so you have no reason not to come to the Swiss-Do

SIN DO photos
Thanks to everyone for the great (but short & wet) time in Singapore. It was great meeting so many fellow travelers. There were so many names and handles that I really should have taken notes. I've posted some pictures from the dinner on the web. If you'd like to look at them, go to Photobucket.com, user name: sindo2007, password : signboard.
Hope to see you all again,
Jim

I hope everyone has made it home safely. On today's SIN-NRT flight (UA 804, a 777XP), seven of the ten seats in the mini-cabin were occupied by FTers: Lori_Q, violist, bseller, newself, restlessinRNO, WWBGD and tealeaf99. Then, in the main C cabin was kluau88. The ANA lounge at NRT was a definite ^ . I need to plan for a longer NRT layover next time to really enjoy this lounge.

I echo thanks to Gene and Willie as well as miles4all.
A toast, too, to all the 30-odd FTers who made the effort
to come out for the event. And let us not forget mjm, to
whom I raise my (UA-supplied) glass filled with (UA-supplied)
Courvoisier.

Safely back in the snow filled ORD area, after a series of fine flights, and a nice visit with many of the DO'ers at the NRT ANA lounge, really quite an upsell from the normally crowded and hot RCC. As is almost always the case, it was GREAT to see old friends from far and near, GREAT to meet new FT'ers, and a lot of fun to put faces with "handles"!!
My hat is tipped to gfowlerORD1K for all of his assistance with the dinner, as well as a thanks to Willem for his time and energy spent with the SIN walk. Very interesting, and a touch different than last year's. ^
Sorry we missed SweetWillie, but WWBGD DID manage a short trip to SIN!
I've already entered "some" of my details on the new SIN RUN 2008 thread started by Mr. Fowler, I hope that all the rest (and many more!) are able to do the same.!!
Best, Dave

What a fantastic 'Do! It was a lot of fun to share my favorite places with such a terrific group of FlyerTalkers.
The ANA lounge was great, but it was the company that made it really special. Next time, we have to arrange for a longer layover so that we can sample the sake bar more thoroughly.
It's too bad SWUs can't be used for flights more than 12 hours apart. A one-night layover in Tokyo would be fun for the 2008 'Do. Maybe intra-Asia mileage upgrades are the answer???
