I'd suggest just registering during the day, and if you miss part of it, all that happens is that you post your blinds...

Sorry. My bad. By late registration, I meant late on the same day the game is going to be played. Last week I registered 30 minutes before the game started. Previously, I had registered almost a week ahead of time, so late - to me anyway - is the day of the game. ;)

But thanks for clarifying for anyone else that may have been confused by what I said. ^

...Heck the way we play, you might even finish in the money and not even show up.
LOL. Someone should really test this theory out.

Just remember that you can do both Lost and poker! Lost is only an hour or so, anyway! :) You'll just lose a little in blinds.

We have to have 9 to run the game don't we?

dcgators Sep 21, 2005 11:25 am

How long does the tournament usually last?

Starwood Lurker Sep 21, 2005 11:54 am

IIRC, most games are usually over before 10:30 PM Central. Unless, you are me. :p Then they end a little sooner than that. Sometimes much sooner than I'd like. :D

Unfortunately, I might need to miss tonight also--serving a two-week (spouse-imposed) haitus from playing online.

Back next week, I hope! Have fun tonight.

PHOENIX (http://komando.com) - Imagine this: You visit a Web site and download a program. You register with the Web site. A few minutes later you're sitting at a virtual poker table, happily playing Texas hold'em.

You're playing with real money. You've paid for betting chips via an escrow service. And, if you're lucky enough to win, your account will be credited with money.

What's wrong with this picture? It's all illegal, according to the Department of Justice.
