Speaking of luck, the only reason I was even around at the final table much less there to finish third last night was the pocket 4s on the small blind that went 4 4s on the flop! My best poker hand since that royal flush in Laughlin last year.

A nice long-ish game last night for a change. Always a blast, though, especially when one finishes in the money :)

Okay just wanted to second Kokonutz thoughts - it was definitely a fun game. But the only reason I lasted at all - let alone to be second was a ton of luck. I also was able to see the River card...and wound up with some sneaky flushes.......and a lot of better players (at least last night) were beaten on hands that by rights I don't think I should have won. I came back from the grave a ton of times, but alas crumpled like a sack of potatoes (?) form Annie's crushing heads-up play!

OOOOH I am sounding like a card shark! Gotta go buy me a hooded sweatshirt - and put my ipod on.....

Just make sure those wrap-around sunglasses are NON-reflective ;)

And it's always fun to play with a good bunch of people.

Some of the people playing poker online can be so stuffy, but not FTers. ^

More than likely it was the incessant musings of a visiting poker prodigy. ;) If that continues, I will probably just turn off or ignore the message function going forward...which would be a shame since it adds to the atmosphere.
