It was about 17 out of 19 seats outbound from PIT.... I think six of us got off in Watertown, only two of us FTers. There was a large group going to Massena on board.
Coming back to Pittsburgh, four or five boarded in ART. About 8 people already on board the plane inbound from MSS.

ART & LEB Airport Advice
Would appreciate the view of upcomming ART & LEB travelers. I will be spending 5 nights in ART arriving at 2200 and departing at 0630 the following morning. I will also be spending 5 nights in LEB arriving at 1835 departing at 0645 the next morning. I would like to avoid spending $$$$ for a hotel on such a short stay. Would someone ask and/or take notes whether the terminal closes and if so, a nearby place to rest your head. Thanks!

Airport in Watertown is closed and locked after last flight of the evening. They do not allow anyone in the building overnight, so you will want to make lodging arrangements as well as transportation arrangements (unless you are cabbing it) before you arrive. There are some campgrounds in the area if hotels are out of your price range.

There is NOTHING wrong with an Econolodge in smaller markets... the only ones that scare me are those in big cities.

That would actually be a useful thing to know for the 10PM - 6:30AM layover crowd (of which I am one, once). I'm more comfortable in my bag than in an EconoLodge. (Or than in most beds, actually)
Hell, bedding down on the floor at JFK was good enough to catch some shuteye before getting on a transcon and resuming my nap--I'm sure this would be just the same (assuming no rain of course)
And I'm sure that, just as at JFK, the gradually swelling roar of passengers awaiting departure for all manner of exotic destinations (or Pittsburgh) will wake me up at the proper time.
But I'd be concerned about any local vagrancy laws. Lotta places do still have em.

A suggestion for those not wanting to shell out the big bucks for a hotel room. Have you considered renting a car for the day(night) and sleeping inside that?
