Bob is the marshall for our seating section and he'll be up top in his red Cat's shirt. If we wander off from the seats and you guys are looking for us when you arrive, ask him as I'll let him know where we have gone.

techgirl, thanks for organizing tonight ^ Great time at BP. It was good to meet techmom, friends Monica and Mary, swag, and empedocles lovely wife (emp, make sure the jersey number is 30 ;) ). Great to see studley again, too.

This was extremely fun! I enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing our "regulars" again. The "entertainment" mentioned by empedocles consisted of two "singers" who were in the seats near us who seemed to know the words of every song being played. (I'm glad they weren't able to get any more beer. ;))

techgirl got us an Upgrade, securing great seats for us (we were right behind Home Plate), perfect for also watching the two Hooter Girls. :) BP of course was fantastic - I had two at-bats.

Actually both of those men were not intoxicated - they had mild mental retardation. :( Mary and I chatted with both of them briefly during the game - very nice guys that the Cats had given seats to.

(Studley mentioned the seats - we sat in the second row behind home plate - you can thank techmom for that since she talked the ticket office into that one since the owner of the Cats actually holds the first three rows down there so those are not normally available for sale!)

There was plenty of "entertainment" - the "singers," the Hooters Girls (too bad they weren't around announcing every inning ;) ), and for the ladies, #30 :p

That would actually be #26 (Bryon Smith) and #44 (Jason Radwan). ;)

Oh, and the homeplate ump too - I think Monica was snapping photos of his butt with her telephoto. ;)

And I bet she was ready to run out to the plate to assist him when he was hit in the, um, cup ;)

I wanted to take a few pictures showing our proximity to Home Plate during the game. I took one with the visiting Edinburg Roadrunners at bat, and one with the Cats at bat.

I just checked my photos....guess who the Cats player was who was batting?

Yep. None other than Mr. 30. I'll have to E-Mail that one to techgirl so techmom can have it. Maybe the other person will let me know where they want it sent.

I am going to Dallas tomorrow (Wednesday, September 7) leaving on Friday. I gather nothing at all FT-wise will be happening during that time, but if someone could correct me if I'm wrong, I'd appreciate it! I'd love to meet all you regulars -- especially since all my exes went to Tech. OK, I only have one ex, but one ex-Techer is almost certainly enough. With all due respect, how often would you want to have to go to Lubbock even if it was just to visit her parents? :) :)
