As far as the regularly-scheduled gathering for this month, how does Thursday, September 29 sound for a date to meet up?

I'm hoping my latest round of travel will be done by the 29th. But no promises yet.

I haven't been to a gathering since March, so I'm way overdue for one. I'll plan on being there (wherever "there" is) on Thursday the 29th.

I'll have the "there" part of this in a day or two.

I am new to Flyer Talk & am in dallas. I don't work too far from Blue Mesa & if I can get awya from work (may have to go back later) will try to stop by. Do you have a separate email list for DFW members or do I need to check this forum for info? Thanks.

Definitely check this thread frequently (you can subscribe for updates, if you like). We try to have something at least once a month and post them all here so that folks don't accidently miss a thread.

You can list yourself in Kiwi Flyer's excellent reference thread, Where We All Live.

That way, if someone planning a gathering wants to send out PM's (Private Messages) to everyone on the list in the area, they can.

When you post there, please use the following format to make it easy for him to update the list.

airport - handle - city/town

If you are able to make it tomorrow, ask at the front for the FlyerTalk group. I'll make sure that they know where we will be seated.

Hard Rock Cafe Lunch Sept 17
 

Hi DFW Folks. I'm going to be in Dallas from 6 am until 6 pm (flight times) on Saturday the 17th. I plan on having lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, I have way too many of their pins and need to add a couple more. Anyone else feel like lunch there? How do I get from the airport to the Hard Rock? Any other recommendations for someone in Dallas for 12 hours?

29th looks good for me. Where? We could try for Tipperary Inn again.

I might be available for lunch. I'm awaiting a phone call for me to conduct some training on Saturday, but don't know what time yet.
