OzFest Footy Sunday 29th meet at 12:30pm

I have purchased the tickets to the Aussie Rules Football.

Cost for each was $40 + $2 booking fee, so AUD42.

I have sent PM's to each in regard to payment.

** I still can get further seats if anyone else would like to go.

Just wondering if the "light snacks" are enough for dinner or there are plans to go somewhere else after for dinner? Thanks

It is possible the food would not be sufficient as a large meal kpc, seeing the photos of what you ate in Malaysia recently .

There are plenty of places nearby in South Wharf and South Bank where some may wish to continue onto after the 8pm finish. Or you can purchase further food from the Venue.

The Snacks are stand up tray served and consist of:
  • Mac & Cheese croquette, romesco sauce V
  • Traditional sausage roll, tomato relish GF
  • Beetroot Cured salmon, taro crisp, crème fraiche, plum gel, dill GF, DFO
  • Fried potato skin, feta, fennel, apple, salsa Verde GF, V, DFO/VGO
Beverages Included are:
  • Wine/Sparkling:
    • Da Luca Prosecco
    • Bull Ant Chardonnay
    • Cake Wines Pinot Gris
    • Beautiful Mystery Rose
    • Motley Cru Shiraz
    • Bellingham Estate Main Ridge Pinot Noir
  • Beers / RTD:
    • Brick Lane Lager (tap)
    • Colonial Pale Ale (tap)
    • 4 Pines Pacific Ale (tap)
    • Hawkers Pale Ale (tap)
    • Cascade light (bottle)
    • Moondog Lager (can)
    • Corona (bottle)
    • Pirate Life Acai & Passionfruit sour (can)
    • Heaps Normal Non Alcoholic Ale
  • Assorted soft drinks & juices
The price is inclusive of all this and our own dedicated area for two hours. Note that these days, a single drink at a venue can easily set you back $15.

What's with the Aussie love of beetroot? At least it isn't cured in Vegemite. (Bracing myself for the pushback).

I've noted earlier upthread that I can't make it - so add me to Bronze as a 'for the record' evidence of attendance failure.
It'll encourage me to try harder next year

I so wanted to attend but not able to make it work this year. Very disappointing as I love what I've seen of Melbourne but have not yet made it to South Bank. I will be following the posts with much envy. Have fun everyone!

Sorry that I won't get to meet you. Would have loved to discuss Thailand since I just got back from my third visit.
