Yup, realized right after I posted that you had MattWald on the list & I was looking at the k's for kokonutz. Must be the left-over beer & wine from last night affecting me http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

bernie, SkiAdcock actually let Koko and the rest of us drink in her home.

Thanks Again SkiAdcock for the wine, beer and soda. None of us spilled anything on your carpet. We were on our best behavior. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

bernie - I'm hoping to meet and make new friends in DUS. However I'm travelling alone and only require one reservation. Thank you.

Thanks Bernie. Sean's ticket has been issued already (its a CX reward) - I have my work plans lined up in DUS for that week - so we are definitely aiming to be on that bus saturday am. Looking forward to it.

Our timings are:

GK - arrive Monday 14th, work all week, on to Hamburg on Monday 21st for more fun.

Sean - arrive late Friday 18th, leave Monday 21st back to Manchester

Who will be staying over until Monday? We leave Monday afternoon and would love to plan something if anyone else will be around.

I am getting into DUS via train from FRA on Thursday evening at 20:11. Figure a few minutes over to the hotel, another few to get settled in, and I am good to go.

I am staying at the Nikko, so can I get one of you guys to either ring me or leave a note at the front desk as to where you have headed? A Kneipe straight off sounds a good way to begin things. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I'll make suggestions for Thu night to have some dinner / drinks at a restaurant / kneipe / bar near to the Nikko.

SkiAdcock May 21, 2003 10:22 am

Thanks Bernie! I was going to email you about suggestions for Thurs eve.

I didn´t pay attention to the DUS Do thread as I thought I wouldn´t be able to attend. But I will be back on July 18 from BCN so I would be able to attend the dinner on Friday and the castle tour+evening kirmes party on Saturday. I´m confirmed 100% as the flights are booked and the hotel will be booked soon.

My current plans are to arrive in Duesseldorf Friday afternoon by train from somewhere else fairly nearby in Europe (after having spent a week in Paris and a few days in Brussels and/or Amsterdam), and to leave by train on Monday for a couple days in Bacharach (a cute town on the Rhine).
