U P D A T E (2)

EVENTS

Friday 18th
We have reservations at the revolving restaurant atop "Rheinturm" for a six course dinner. Meet @ 8pm sharp at the entrance.
- baked zucchini flowers on chanterelle salad w. vinaigrette
- water cress soup w. curds dumpkins
- sausage of "fine fishes" w. comfrey and mild mustuard sauce
- tamarilles sorbet w. champagne
- angus filet "Wellington" baked in puff- paste (vegetarian possible)
- pear tarte on chocolate
Fireworks will start at dusk which is 10:30pm that season.
There's no dresscode. Just dress casual but "nice" http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Saturday 19th
We will be picked up by coach at the Nikko at 1. Short ride to "Schloss Burg" (45 mins) Visit the castle w english speaking guide. 3pm "Kaffetafel".
Return to Düsseldorf 6:30 - 7:30pm. Drop off at the fairgrounds on "Rhine Meadows" opposite "Altstadt". Visit to the "Kirmes" (fair) starting at a "Bierzelt". Rest of the time at your leisure - there is no way to stay together with such a large group .... there are some 500k more people that very night (dependimg on the weather). Though you've had quite enough to eat at he "Kaffetafel" - there is a lots of food at the Kirmes like "Fischbrötchen", "Bratwurst" etc.

Sunday 20th
noon - 3pm: Farewell @ Bernie's

... of course we might add another dinner with those still staying

All inclusive rate per person some 120 € (50 Saturday only)

- Dinner and entrance fees to the tower
- coach ride to Schloss Burg rt.
- visit to the castle, guide and fees
- Bergische Kaffetafel

No drinks, of course
