AND: BTW, current prices I've noted for Devils/Pittsburgh Penguins at CO Arena on 3/23/01 from ticket brokers are about $75. - $300.

Yep, Canucks vs Devils are wide open and they do have prices between $20-85. and higher plus the BS charges, tax, ticketmaster and mailing or whatever!
On the other hand Rangers/Pittsburgh, like Rangers/Devils is a sellout so you must go to a broker/scalper!
At one of the Rangers/Devils games, my son and I do not have seats together!

Catman-- in the spirit of taking some guessing out of your hard work in planning this very successful event, its with regret that I ask you to strike me from the maybe list... I just dont think I can make it.
If the tide changes, I will just drop by the place you all are at after dinner and join what will surely be a great "apres-dinner" conversation & drinks at some other location.

The ironies of our globe trotting lives. Goucho finally moves to NYC and will be out of town for the NYC event. Isn't life always this way? Will miss seeing you again. Hopefully you will be able to drop in for dessert Saturday. By the way, thanks for the coffee repas in Dusseldorff. Hope you did find a place and are getting settled in.

I'm holding a reservation at the Hilton Times Square for the evening of 3/23 at a rate of $159+tax. Since there is no hope of my making the CMDIII, I'd be happy to give that reservation to someone in need.
According to Hilton Reservations it should be no problem for me to change the name on the reservation.
E-mail me if you are interested.

"So will the game on friday night at CO Arena be the Official FT Hockey Game?"
Whatever everyone likes!
Again, I'll be at the Arena later tonight for the Knicks/Nets game, so if anyone is interested, please email me and I'll see what, if anything I can do!
BTW-
On this date, today in 1653, New Amsterdam, now New York City, was incorporated- whatever that means!

How appropo.... since the boards here lately remind me of the old joke..... "I was at a fight the other night and a hockey game broke out" ..... should be plenty of both on the 23rd I guess .......

Since I've been emailed asking about any consensus emeging regarding possibly attending some sporting event during this FT gathering period, I'll ask!
Any consensus? Again, I personally go to many games, so it's no big deal for me either way! Perhaps those really interested, say in attending a hockey game or something, could initiate another thread!
