What time is dinner? I'm driving down from NY on Friday afternoon, but my arrival time will depend on traffic. I'm hoping to leave by 330-4, so if all goes well I can be there ~8.

I'd suggest gathering around 6:30 pm on Friday at Jaleo. I'll phone Jaleo on Thursday to try to reserve a table, so I'd like to have a semi-accurate count of attendees by Thursday afternoon.

If we're getting there at 6:30, I think we should try and just do happy hour for a bit... maybe 7:30pm dinner reservations so we get an hour of cheap drinks at the bar (I realize it's over at 7, but we can load up and then coast for a half hour)? No happy hour if we sit down at 6:30...
Just in case you can't get a reservation when you call, I made an opentable reservation for 9 (max number of people you can do online) at 7:30pm on Friday. Backup!

Ok so gvdIAD and I are working out reservations today, but for now let's count on meeting near the bar at 6:30pm. The reservation will either be under Greg (12) or Jon (9) in case you come later. All are welcome!!

I just got off the phone with Jaleo and we have a reservation for a party of 12 at 7:00 pm, under my name. According to the reservation agent, it will be possible to bill people individually for drinks, with a single check for the food -- to be divided equally by all in attendance. With that in mind, please bring cash. See you all tonight.
