January 2014 Restaurant Week
Restaurant week starts January 13, 2014. Most places participating do one week, but some do two.
Some of the places I think might be worth trying (looking only at places that posted RW menus on the website) are:
Ambar
CoCo Sala (where I have had a couple of awesome meals with chocoholic friends)
Russia House
Lincoln (where we did quite well on a previous RW outing)
Teddy's and the Bully Bar (associated with Lincoln)
Westend Bistro
Anyone interested?

I'm here Monday and Tuesday of that week and would certainly be interested in dinner one of those two nights. Let me look at menus this weekend and I'll post my preferences.

I'm around that week and missed the last couple of get-togethers. Would be great to catch up!

Will try to make this one at least. Depends on weather as well.
Sun afternoons are best, but to see a real monitor I think Tuesdays can be done ...

I'm a flyertalk newb living in DC and would love to meetup with everyone. Mondays and Tuesdays are never good (I teach and rehearse improv comedy, howz about that?!) but Wed-Sun are all good for dinner!
1789 and Casa Oaxaca might be fun to try.

I took a look at the menus and think they all look interesting. That said, I'd probably be most interested in Westend Bistro or Teddy's.
mhnadel: If you make a reservation for Monday the 13th or Tuesday the 14th, count me in.
I see that CoCo Sala is continuing its RW menu through the 26th of January. I'd be interested in dinner there on Saturday the 25th, if anyone else is available.

I've made a reservation for 4 people for Westend Bistro for January 13th at 7:00 p.m.

I will also keep a wait list. (I did look for tables for 6, but that meant either 5:30 p.m. or 9 p.m., neither of which is really workable for suburbanites like me.)
I'd also be interested in CoCoSala on January 25th.

Next 2 to speak up get the other 2, but I will also keep a wait list. (I did look for tables for 6, but that meant either 5:30 p.m. or 9 p.m., neither of which is really workable for suburbanites like me.)

I'll be eating falafel in Israel at that time.

I've been traveling a bunch and quite busy and haven't been able to make gatherings over the past few months.
Unfortunately, Jan 13th won't work (and WEB is only one block from my office!). Instead, I'll be freezing in Halifax for work. Not sure about the 25th.

The 13th I teach at night and the 25th is my girlfriend's birthday... and although we are scheduled to visit Puerto Rico, Budapest, and Hawaii for free in 2014 thanks to me and my miles shenanigans, I still don't think she'd be interested................
