He's having a ball in Italy while we are all stuck around here. Seems unjust to me but January Restaurant Week will need to do.

I've made a reservation for 6 people for a restaurant week dinner at Teddy and the Bully Bar. This is a sister restaurant to Lincoln, where some of us had a very nice meal on a previous RW. It's 1t 1200 19th St NW, just north of M Street.
Wednesday August 13th, 7:00 p.m.
RW Menu is available on-line at http://teddyandthebullybar.com/wp-co...mmerDINNER.pdf

Another restaurant week idea
Al Dente -- on New Mexico Ave. Unfortunately not on Metro, but on the bus.
Interested?
I could pick up some people at Tenleytown station at 530 pm.
Typically offers full menu for restaurant week.

Thank you mhnadel for taking the initiative. Unless something unexpected happens again (like this afternoon when we need to run to the airport to get out west to cover for someone who broke her ankle getting out of bed ), we will be there.
Oh well, big miles earned for a last minute airline ticket. :-:

Hi all, just wanted to follow up from an earlier post I made http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/23275374-post578.html
Is anyone around on the Labor Day weekend? And is there any possibility of organising a Do to welcome an Aussie to your city?

Emergency
My apologies to mhnadel and mot29 but the unexpected and unwanted business emergency has occurred. We need to cancel our DC trip in favor of picking up some pieces in Louisville where, this morning, we lost our Onsite Manager.
We regret the cancellation about as much as one can regret since we were meeting two of the nicest people for a long-planned dinner.

The 1st or 2nd Wed of the month are always difficult to attend for me. Actually, I believe that the I Richi menu next door to Teddy's is more interesting. I'll also be away for Labor Day. Gotta love those short haul BA avios award flights.

Whoops, I completely missed this one. Did you all get to go? If so, how was it? Sorry I saw this too late...
