Good morning from the Hilton Dubai Creek.
Made the mistake of waiting in the Visa Connection line desk I saw on the way to Passport Control. There was no need for a visitor to the Do, a short stay, to go there. Just go straight to Passport C.
It was hot here last night. A bit of a shock exiting the terminal. Going to have a little breakfast, then go to Grand Mosque, before checking out and heading over to the PH.

BTW, on my flight from FRA last night, a young couple was also in F on LH, and he had the FT tag on his luggage. I asked if they were headed to the Do, but they're on their way to the Maldives. Not a bad alternative!

Here in the Grand Hyatt Club lounge where I and the hostesses have been struggling to get my notebook to work.....had to close out firewalls. All have been wonderful here, the Lounge is attractive.....getting ready to venture out for a looksee..

Re old cabin in F.....AFAIR there're currently only 2 747 and apparently 1 A3x0 with the new F so don't expect a new F for your FRA-DXB flight. You'll find an empty seat next to you (there're still 16 seats but only 8 Pax max).

Made it over to the Spice and Gold Souks this morning. Nice to be under the covered areas, especially when a wind would blow through. Had a few tastes of saffron pistachios, which I haven't had in a long while. Might get some before heading home, along with some saffron.
Well, having a last fling with the internet here at the Exec Lounge at the Hilton before heading over to check in at the PH for the next 3 nights. I believe this stay/night now gets me back to Diamond with Hilton.

Regarding the Brunch and the fact that we are in a separate area: I may not be able to arrive until 1:30pm and know how chaotic some of these brunches can be.. 
should I just ask for the Flyertalk group and pay at the entry?
