When I called the Globalist line a few months ago regarding FHR, I asked about how the Edit hotels code and if Hyatt does consider them eligible. The representative had no idea what an Edit hotel was and couldn't find it on their "eligible rates" list. They had FHR and Prive / corporate rates on that list, but the Edit hotel was not on it. They referred me to Chase for that question. So as people book and connect the reservations to their WOH, datapoints would be great about if the Edit bookings are solid for EQNs.

I haven't booked a Hyatt hotel this year for the Edit credit, but will for next year. Just be prepared for some hiccups if WOH/Edit bookings are wonky.

Thank you. I sure will. I have had a lot of issues with the Chase Travel portal.

What and odd bug! I was waiting to book to use The Edit credits.

Edited to add: note, this is not just The Edit hotels. It's all hotels! For a major city in Spain.

Update: it's now Wednesday and no one can book a hotel in Sevilla - any hotel, any time. I'm flabbergasted!

Not sure if it helps for Hyatt but at Marriott, the rate shows up as "CHASE LHRC Exclusive Rate". It did require me contacting the hotel to get it properly recognized, though that was less than two weeks into the program, so might have just been some early glitches

Looks like Chase IT is doing catch up and rolling it out in batches. I was looking at the Standard Bangkok yesterday and "World of Hyatt Eligible" was not listed as a benefit. But I just looked again and it is there now on the website but it is not on the App. In addition, it said refundable option available but the only option to book is a non-refundable rate!

As some others have noted, I am also seeing issues with a lack of inventory for some of the Edit hotels on the Chase Travel portal. I was looking to book a stay at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, which is an Edit hotel, but it showed as “Sold Out” on my dates. The hotel showed as wide open for my dates on every other site I checked. I started checking other random dates for the Cosmo on the Chase Travel portal, but they all showed as “Sold Out”, regardless of the dates.

i called Chase Travel today to alert them to the issue. At first, I got a standard response from the agent about how they only have a limited inventory, but after I asked the agent to check any random dates (they got the same results I did), the agent agreed it was an issue and said they would submit a ticket to IT.

Haven’t noticed any change yet, though.

In my case, it isn't just The Edit hotels. It's all hotels in a major city in Spain, and any dates. My post was moved here from the main forum.

For example, if your Edit hotel cost $1250 and you prepay all $1250 and receive a $250 credit, you will receive Chase points on $1000 of the spend. If you book, for example, a WOH hotel and it is WOH eligible, you will also receive WOH points on your eligible spend. However, I'm not sure what will be counted as eligible spend.

The entire cost (in your example $1250) would be eligible for WoH regardless of how you split up the cash and points.

Were you also looking for hotels in Seville? I got them to show up by entering "Sevilla Este" as the city.

I just booked something to use this years credit - hopefully it's a good redemption. W Algarve for 2 nights for $603, which allowed me to stack the $250 credit as well as the $100 off $600 for using the Chase Travel portal.

Am desperately searching to find any value in this credit for a booking made before 12/31. The limited selection and often nutty prices is not fun.

I've looked for 5 trips and can't find anything reasonably priced. Unless Chase makes changes, I'm out. Since I'm rarely in the US,few of the coupon cutting benefits work for me. I don't like idea of losing the flagship card but I can't make the economics work easily.

HK, Suzhou, Bangkok, Shenzhen. I just can't make it work through end of yr.

Same with me. I just looked at a weekend in DC and just could not find anything worth it. And the dining credit is just as bad.
Compared to the Amex Plat credits, the Chase versions stink.

Absent and material changes in the dining and hotel benefits/credits, I think CSR is not for me when the annual fee hits.

the only place I can make it work is Singapore…and appears that is in the part of the world you are in…but yes, otherwise it’s awful and I’ll definitely cancel.

Can you elaborate? Are you saying they don't claw it back? Or are you saying that they claw it back but then I can make another booking and get it again? What if I make the reservation now but don't cancel until after 12/31, it seems unlikely I would be able to use the 2025 credit again in 2026 so I am thinking you would lose it in this example? Or what if I made two Edit reservations in 2025 and canceled the first one, would the credit automatically roll retroactively to the 2nd? I can't find a description of how all this works.

You can use the 2025 credit for a future stay in 2026. But the credit expires 12/31. So if you cancel you stay after 12/31, you lose the 2025 credit. It can’t be used for a new booking made after 12/31 since it already expired. If you cancel the reservation after 12/31, the credit is lost and not reassigned to another reservation even if made in 2025. From their standpoint, the 2025 credit was used and expired as soon as you cancelled the reservation in 2026. You can’t banked an expired credit or retroactively apply a credit that expired.

I don't think I understand. I picked a random pair of nights in November in Bangkok. Can stay at the St Regis for $750 less the $250 Edit credit or roughly 25,000 ultimate rewards points, for two nights in a St Regis with breakfast and a $100 credit. That seems like a pretty good deal to me. it would otherwise be about 125,000 Bonvoy points, with no free breakfast or credit. Even setting aside the Edit extras and Bonvoy points earned, that converts UR points to Bonvoy points at a 1:5 rate. i think most would be pretty happy with that.
For Shenzhen, the Langham for two nights for 13,750 UR points. Hong Kong, (strangely) no, nothing to be found, but that doesn't make it useless, just somewhat limits it's use. Suzhou is not really an Edit/Fine Hotels and Resorts kind of market
