ERROR: A general error occurred while attempting to process your request.
I'm encountering the same error while booking an activity. Anyone know what the problem is? TIA.

Is the UR portal down?
I went to ultimaterewards.com, and it redirected me to the regular Chase.com login page, and when I logged in it took me to my credit card account summary. At this point I was like, "What the eff? Doesn't this normally go to the Ultimate Rewards portal?"
Anyway, I dig around a bit, and I decide to just see if I could get to the portal from my card's account summary. So I click on "Ultimate Rewards: See Balance", and it correctly shows me my UR points balance, but when I click on the "Redeem" button, it takes me to https://ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com/, which appears to be a dead site.
Is anyone else running into this issue?

Chase Ultimate Rewards site - A Constant Problem!!
For a company as large as Chase, it seems odd that the Ultimate Rewards site seems to be junk, and has a serious Chrome problem.
I have a ton of points, and rather infrequently attempt to use them. Every time I try to access the Ultimate Rewards site, it says '...Unable to access...'
Some months ago I contacted Chase and they politely advised - 'nope all is good, clear your cache, reboot your computer, or call us to book...' Seemed odd because of course that is never an issue with Chase.com with Chrome. Never got to work, so I handled things over the phone.
Recently when ti happened yet again after 3 months passed, I checked around and found many, many folks with the same problem. Just discovered that it seems to work with Safari better, but Chrome has 60 percent of the market. Many of us don't even keep Safari on our devices.
Either Chase needs to fire some programmers who are incompetent, or there is a simple workaround that I'm missing?

I don't use Chrome, and I've never had a problem with IE, Safari, Edge, or Mozilla.
That said, I'm pretty sure the UR portal is pretty low on Chase's list of priorities. Consider it more of an afterthought to increase the perceived value of their UR program, rather than a primary focus.
It would be nice if it worked well all the time, with every browser, on every possible hardware configuration, from every possible IP address, from every part of the world, with every possible configuration from the vendor sides, from.... you get the picture. It does suck when you're the one person it doesn't work for. I've been in that situation before with other sites, but the last 1% of bugs for most things often cost more to fix than the other 99%.

Issues with Travel Portal
Anyone else having issues booking a flight through Chase's travel portal? After completing all of the pages and getting to the final step to 'complete checkout,' I get an error message saying, "An error was encountered while attempting to process your order. We're sorry. There's been a problem with your booking. Please contact us at 1-855-234-2542 so we can help you resolve this issue."
I've spent 2 hours on the phone with Chase with 2 different representatives who were unable to help me. One said the system was down as airlines are updating the prices. The other tried helping me book the flights on her end, but the fares ended up being DOUBLE of what I saw on the Chase travel portal.
Any ideas?
