Nothing to be concerned of for the next few years. The 777s will take 3 years to refit already.

is that the same case when Cirrus J was installed ?

In my point of view,

1. Giant TV is a must compared to different carriers. Big screen is a selling point these days
2. The 24-inch screen seems cannot fit into the monitor arm like what they did in 350 and old 77W
3. Reverse-Herringbone is a must for CX or else they have to do low-density cabin, which they won't (compared to SQ's 777 (I tried to do maths: if they use 3-4-3 for 777, that will be 283 including 4F 48J 28W 231Y), ANA (212 seats))
4. Using a front-facing seat doesn't mean they have a good footrest (SQ/ANA/JAL, especially SQ)

is that expected that A350-900 and A350-1000 version will get Cirrus seats + Aria doors and 24" screen ?

The A350 refit is years away, so there's nothing to be concerned about now and plenty of time for that to take shape.

I'd be interested to hear where these 'rumours' came from. CX has suggested the 777-9s might see an evolution or refinement of Aria based on feedback from early 777-300ER experience but those would more be like tweaks and fine-tunings, it'd still very much be Aria.

Strongly agree on point 4. SQ's long haul biz seat is horrible. The Room and JL new biz seats' legroom can't compare to Cirrus III. (I always think those seats are overhyped, and the color palette of JL A35K business cabin is beyond hideous! Resemble more of a hospital with no sense of premium or luxury. In that regard Aria is much, much, much better than JL.)

oh that's exactly what I wanna say, it will be somehow different from the current Aria, albeit very small difference. Sorry for the confusion :)

agreed but geometrically based on how the seat is designed that would be impossible, directly behind the TV is the enclosed storage cabinet for the seat in front of you so there really is no space for it to “retract” or move back anywhere.

The foundation of the seat seems to be based on the newer Collins Elements but heavily customised for CX, structurally by design the screens cannot be retracted because that’s how they’ve managed to fit everything and is the typical layout for these collins seats, probably not even a configuration option. If they really want the TV screens to be retractable (similar to current one) then it would mean choosing an entirely different seat design to begin with.

Yep, and JPA also confirmed to me there's not a bit of Airtek in this - it's entirely 100% conventional - so whatever blogger/s were out so early claiming Cathay's new business class was Airtek were not at all on the money.

So Aria is different from Club Suites only by these (small) improvements https://runwaygirlnetwork.com/2022/0...tion-elements/

(JX is already there. And then MH is about to jump into the Elements bandwagon too https://simpleflying.com/malaysia-ai...irbus-a330neo/ )

At least they didn’t use those stupid storage compartment.

Not a bad overview of the Aria suite from Sam Chui, albeit only a short haul to PEK

CX's retrofitted 777-300ER (Aria Suite)will be deployed in japanese route and more importantly, long-haul route within this year, according to the CX press release in Japanese, released today.

If it's not a typo, it would be fantastic news that long-haul services (read: LHR) will commence in 2024. It would also hint that retrofitting is faster than we expect.

ATM it is PEK then PVG, TPE. After that HND and LHR?

MH is not adopting Elements but rather the older “Elevation” seats aka BA Club Suites.

SIN was mentioned in the video so most probably December will have daily flights for SIN and HND routes.
