Would be helpful if you actually described what it is they are messing up and what should or could be done to put it right and I at least would take the time to forward it to the right people for you. No point making off the cuff remarks without stating some facts.

I wouldn't agree with this 100%. Instead, I find that airline websites that have been "simplified" (like AA.com) make it harder to use them, not easier. They've done such an extensive de-clutter that you often need to click through multiple pages to get to information.

We'll see how the execution is in practice, but for now based on the pictures I think they've done a decent but not fantastic job of drawing the eye to where you go to book tickets, and also where you can go to log-in/MMB. That's a big improvement on the current homepage, where functions such as MMB and OLCI are presented as small, easily missed tabs in that center block. They also appear to have done ok highlighting their current sale fares on the home page.

For me, the functionality is going to be more important than the aesthetic. I'm hoping they've finally fixed bugs such as its inability to remember that I want the HK homepage, although I'm not optimistic on this score.

I for one wouldn't mind an Amadeus terminal encapsulated in a bare bones web page

I would probably recommend all members to print/copy/save at least the account information (club miles/sectors and Asia Miles) just in case they lose all data during the upgrade. Takes a few seconds and saves me worrying what would happen if they lost everything.

Hope this refresh won't be too messy :td:

I really hope CX isn't as dumb as you suggests (not backing up everything before an upgrade...)

Goodbye pre-2013 cx.com. Although you weren't perfect, you did most of the things we needed you to do, and we thank you.

Itinery disappeared from MMB. CAn't do online check-in for tmr flight... fortunately the father is non MPC - using Asiamiles member to log on it worked... using MPC member details doesn't show up.

if the ITEC guys were flying the plane we'd have plane crash every 3 months.

This is why we shouldn't be too happy that Boeing is going more and more "fly-by-wire" route. Sure, digital-systems makes flying easy, but when systems crashes the plane also.... Any pilots from the last generation will tell you, "Airmanship" is a lost art in the new generation of pilots, and no "digital" systems can replace that.
