All three languages (Canto/Eng/Mando) completely jammed - all to voicemail now
I took 91 minutes starting from 08:15 to get through, and 30 minutes to have my SIL's ticket reissued.
I reissued SIL's SYD-HKG 1/5 in J(U). I'm still waitlisting for her 11/5 return, she already has a ticketed PE(T).
The Tsuen Wan GA I spoke to suggested I seperate the tickets into two since it's 75K for U outbound T inbound vs 80K for U round-trip.
Then extended the waitlist for the T inbound to 7/5. She wouldn't give me an extension without splitting cos she says furthest deadline she can give is T-4 of first segment (I know derek's done better, but I don't have DM priority).

I just called like 4-5 times in the last two days to change flights around. Most was a 15 minute hold; otherwise only 2-3 minutes to speak with someone. I don't know who you guys are dialing, but I seem to have no real issues. I only have MPC Silver.

I have never had a delay in calling MPC from all over the world at all kinds of times. I think the system leap frogs you everytime if you are able to key in your DM card number

Thats not news. Theres DM priority, GO priority, SL priority and general non-priority. And then there is AM.

From 10:00 this morning, I couldn't even hold for Mandarin/Canto/English. Always get the voicemail.
I've been alternating between Mando/English every two minutes. I did a keystroke error and entered Hotel and Car Rental redemptions (option 1) in English once, and a Tsuen Wan agent promptly picked up. Couldn't handle my flight redemption waitlist amendment, of course.
So MPO's recent strategy seems to starve flight redemptions - they have enough people to pick up non-flight redemptions, they have enough people to chase up our cleared redemptions, MPO simply isn't very keen on having actually pick up flight redemption enquiries.
Edit: connected 11:38 to Manila (English). 24 attempts.
