At the minute, NCL-LAX is pricing up as £810 for the 0600 from NCL arriving into LAX at 12:55 - I would need the early flight eventhough later ones are cheaper.

I believe I saw this for just under £500 before Christmas so I'm not sure whether to hold out or not.

Is it pretty likely there will be another economy sale soon or would people advise just booking it. I'm a bit of a risk taker so am tempted to hold out!
How easily can you get to DUB? Often drops a packet load off in Y too.

I can't seem to find the OSL-LHR-LAX for £300 anywhere? cheapest I can find is around the £650 mark

I think the problem is the fact I need the 0945-1255 LHR-LAX flight in order to arrive and check into my student halls. The later flight lands too late unfortunately.

Think I'm just going to have to wait and hope it comes down!

Have you checked whether going a day earlier and spending a night in a hotel might work out cheaper?

You can transfer the Avios to your IB+ account and book via IB. I often see better fares (including Promotional Business fares, sometimes cheaper than Y) on iberia.com

I think I got very very lucky - booked MAN-LAX return for the dates/flights I need for £478! (booked 2 days ago)

At the minute the same itinerary is pricing at £840 on ba.com - thought it was a glitch but it has ticketed and the money has been taken from my account.

A little bit of a pain it's from MAN not NCL however NCL was £150 more for worse flights!

How common are such fares? It seemed to be very random and not part of an official sale as such?

With flights at the times you are looking at the main challenge is that they don't always make the cheaper fare buckets available on all the flights you need. IMO not a sale, but lucking into the right kind of availability MAN-LHR (which has a lot more flights) which wasn't there NCL-LHR. In the US, you will sometimes see a completely empty plane on mid Nov dates, right before thxgiving, and no cheap fare buckets available. They know they will sell anyway. Summer SH can get very challenging in the same way and fare buckets may actually have sold out or just not be available.

This does certainly seem to be the case - the later arriving 269 was always significantly cheaper from NCL when I looked but I needed the early one so was very glad when I saw it available from MAN

Hey,

Can somebody confirm that this would earn 160 TP's?

http://goo.gl/flights/fG1I

Reason I ask is because when I go through to the IB site it is showing as 2 flights "with stopover" and not listing 4 separate flights. Doing it as 4 separate flights jacks up the price to £800+ for some reason

120 TP I think? Domestic IB biz flights earn 20 not 40 TP.

If you haven't spent all your cash at DFS so far, it's sale time at BA again, from now until 17th May 2016.

Stand-out fares seem to be in First for £1894 to New York, £2212 to Hong Kong and £3320 to Johannesburg this time, potentially dropped by another £200 with 30,000 Avios co-pay if you're Avios-rich.

For subscribers to this thread, exUK Club & First Sale fares have been loaded today, 16th June 2016.

Book by 12th July 2016 - generally for travel at the lowest fares over Christmas and New Year.

Highlights this time are probably First to the Middle East and South Asia, with Abu Dhabi showing at £1645, Dubai at £1760, and Muscat at £1761. Mumbai in First is from £1927 and New Delhi is from £1923.

Apology & Thanks

My thanks to Prospero for feather-dusting this thread a little while ago, after my failure to note the change to the FT ToS. My apologies therefore for the inadvertent transgression. Pucci has additionally threatened hairbrushing.

Are the T&Cs for this sale published anywhere yet? Looks like some Europe routes are included as well...
