So who'll win the suite upgrade this time round?

IIRC, there was only one winner in SZG.

I'm throwing this to the group - on Saturday evening we have a couple of options for consideration:

Pre-dinner drinks, formal sit down dinner, then let rip in one of the many pubs/clubs in the city centre

or

Gather at a suitably sized drinking establishment that also caters for those who wish to eat. There are many pubs in the city that allow for a more fluid one-stop arrangement such as this. Of course, late drinking goes without saying

Please feel free to add any alternative suggestions you might have.

...or is near to such a place?

That would be my vote as we had the formal dinner a couple of times and it can drag on for some people and bust the budget of others.

Now, for venue suggestions...?

I do like a bit of a nibble before I drink, so while something casual is preferred (though I did have a memorably good sups at Atrium when I last visited) I would rather sustain the drinking on a full stomach!

Here's another vote for something budget-conscious. To this day, my wallet still yelps, runs and hides when I mention the Glasgow DO...

Good God, if flyclub thought it was expensive, thank heavens I handed over the plastic like a gentleman (albeit a totally pissed one) without incident...

So, Pizza Express it is then!

Indeed. I should have ordered more drinks as they were all going on the tab anyway.
