JER-LHR BA 1345 today

Very pleasant beef salad - really delicious. The other option was quinoa salad. The dessert had some very crispy seeds in it which made me fear for my teeth so I didn’t explore it much. The champagne was Castelnau which I haven’t warmed to.

Lamb v soft and tender, still some crunch to the veg and tasty jus. The sweet potato mash was on the sweet side but some seasoning helped balance it and it went well with the savouriness of the lamb IMHO.

Dessert was tasty and the cheese good, particularly the cheddar. Good chutney.

Overall, I was very happy with my lunch and I don’t think I could reasonably ask for more from a short-haul business class hot meal.

Maybe the caterers were aiming for the traditional greasy spoon cafe look with that omelette …….

Why does BA love to cook avocado?! It should never be done.

Last flight down from NCL this evening. Choices seemed to include anything which was left so we could pick from chicken salad, tomato & mozzarella, quinoa, and the beef.

the sandwiches were arguably better. But any way to avoid the afternoon tea concept entirely?
