hi

I would personally keep it just in case( view it as insurance) and in the scheme of things it is a minor cost .it is just unfortunate timing .

Regards

I think we will, too late for a refund anyway.

Good news however on the relaxation of masks outdoors etc.

Enjoy your trip.

I didn't even realise you had to wear them outdoors! I have been walking outside without and I assumed that was fine since most others were too.

Hi

We had to wear mass at all times at expo 2020 in Nov apart from eating or drinking.
I kept my mask at other outdoor places such vast zabeel park but did not see any enforcement

Thanks, yes still inside which I have been doing and assumed was the case. I just wasn't aware it was required outside - I had checked before coming but clearly missed that bit.

I didn’t wear masks outside in Abu Dhabi or Dubai in December 2021, including at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as it has no reasonable scientific grounding as an infection control measure. No one ever cared or challenged me. I wore them at the airport, mall, walking around the hotel etc, which made sense.

My personal policy has kind of been wear it when walking around anywhere busy and/or privately owned (e.g. outside Dubai Mall, EXPO, etc.) but not when just walking down the street. Glad it’s now totally gone as the legal requirement to wear your mask outside only until you got to the pool when you could then take it off to be in close proximity to others for an extended period is not the greatest…

I did notice when I landed yesterday that there were even people inside Dubai Airport arrivals no longer wearing a mask. Hopefully Dubai will shortly follow the UK to fully ‘living with COVID’ status.

Is as of today and not the 1st March, as another poster highlighted EK site is now also updated. The IATA site has not updated but then again it took a few days before they updated the mask rule. Personally I would call BA and them to double check

Hi

Yes I saw that on flight sratus and was commiserating with the ccr staff.( lounge stayed open)
just had a top up of lpgs
Nice to be in f on the a380 ( first a380 f since 2016 from hkg to lhr)

Certainly the ccr staff and ba cabin crew are ba's greatest asset at the moment.

Regards
tbs

2nd top up of lpgs offered and menu order taken
taken looks like we are awaiting a few pax from delayed flights ( ie row 1a is empty but was full on seat map and 3pax walked through f and upstairs.

Now issue with number of pax on board and hopefully resolved shortly.. ah last lower deck jetway being pulled back now.
