Thanks, they canceled the flight and encouraged me to go to Manage My Flights.

From there the verbiage included "Refund" but when I canceled, then the page said voucher.

I guess I'll have to call in.

If you would rather wait and see if something radically changes in the next few weeks then yes you can do that up until either 24 or 1 hour to departure, depending on the specifics of your booking.
It's a holiday booking flight + hotel, and additional airport transfer. The hotel in that package was a non-refundable room so that make it confusing to me. I assume that I can reclaim the full amount paid since it looks like BA won't be able to get me on my destination but I want to figure out if this would go without a struggle to get that done or not before even calling.

Just to be clear, you booked a BA Holidays package that included the hotel, rather than booking the hotel separately? If you booked the hotel yourself, separately, BA will not refund that and you must deal with your travel insurance provider.

It is a BA Holidays package including the hotel, yes, but thus with a non-refundable room and now some of the flights canceled.

I never would expect any payment for bookings not done via BA btw.

TimDP, did you buy the BA holidays deal in the UK - e.g. from the UK call centre? If so, there are different rules that apply -- the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations. You might want to have a look over here:

My understanding is that in the UK for BA holidays if a flight element is cancelled then you are due a refund of the full amount even if the hotel element was non refundable. But the keywords are cancelled by BA. I am in the same position awaiting a flight cancellation before I ring BA holidays for a full refund including the non refundable hotel element. As I say that is just my understanding. But others can I confirm or not.

I've just had notification that my day trip to WAW on the 23rd June had been cancelled. Can someone please clarify that I need to call to get the refund now that the JavaScript trick has been disabled.
I'm sure the answer is buried in this thread somewhere.

FWIW, Just had MAN-LHR (BA1391) cancellation for 24/06. This was the first leg of a CW companion voucher redemption to JNB.

0800 727 800 from within the UK, or +44 (0)203 250 0145 from abroad, to discuss your refund options?

If the flight is cancelled then you can cancel the whole booking. Legally there are a few nuances around that, but I wouldn't worry too much about that at the moment. Even if the flight is not cancelled BA Holidays are cancelling pro-actively bookings simply due to the fact that the booking isn't viable as a holiday any more. So for example if you had booked a flight and hotel package to (say) Paris in mid June this may be technically available for travel but if a city has closed or restricted shops, museums, restaurants, historic attractions then it's just impractical, given the purpose of travel.

Relatively few of my June flights have been changed this far, though I'm sure cancellations will come down the wire before too long, so you can wait it out a bit longer. Judging from other posts in this forum, it seems that 3 weeks before travel, or a just before then, is the decision point for many BA Holiday customers.

Booked with BA Holidays in Dec 2019 to go to Malta (6-13 June 2020) with just the deposit (2 x £150) paid. I understand that BA have extended the final payment deadline until 3 weeks before departure date. I will not pay the final balance. FCO says Malta is not accepting non-essential flights but BAH have not yet cancelled flight/hotel. I have received an email from BA regarding vouchers, but it mentions bookings made after early March 2020. Am I still eligible to claim a voucher?

Yes, all bookings until 31 July are in scope, there are two strands to the policy, the other relating to more recent bookings, but for all travel until July is in scope now, see the wiki and main Rebooking thread for more details.

BA Holidays seem to be cancelling close to the 3 weeks point anyway, so I would wait until nearer that time, then a day or so before that deadline call BA Holidays if you haven't had an email. If the flight gets cancelled then you can call sooner. Don't opt for an eVoucher unless you understand the various advantages and disadvantages of it, your default should be to look for a cash refund.

My June 25th LHR>ABZ (part of a BA Holiday ABZ>LHR>DEN>LHR>ABZ) has just been cancelled. Only one LHR>ABZ flight left that day and it departs before the DEN flight arrives.

So presumably I can now ring BA holidays and cancel holiday and ask for cash refund of deposit (balance has not been paid)?

Yes or wait until nearer the time checking if the payment has reappeared on your card.
