Well, kind of. But it actually has the risk of creating dissatisfaction. If you're on one route one week and get a free drink and then don't get a free drink on another route the following week, you might feel like the service is a bit, well, inconsistent. I seem to have a knack of missing all of these freebies, so I am just generally unimpressed from a personal perspective

well it seems not every Gold or Silver is on FT. Some of our fellow BA Exec Club members are confused and reporting it on twitter.

I dont use Twitter ... must admit ... I don’t know how to use it.
i agree with others here... communication from The BA management should have been sent out.

Twitter is the best way to complain, praise or get things done for you without the need to go through the call center. Click on that tweet and you‘ll see BA‘s answer and some of the reactions of other passengers. BA said it was a trial but not available on every flight.

I dont see the need to post on Twitter (if I knew how to, I still would not.)
I do however find it bizarre that this GGL member who has access to Lounges before their flights have a need to rant on Twitter that they did not get a free drink on this trial when their lowly Gold friend did on a different route.
Really? .... If you are GGL .... you can buy yourself a drink on BoB. 😊
Edited... Also my opinion is that this is actually abusing Twitter service. A GGL not getting a free drink in ET on a non trial route is wasting BA resources. Flight delays, cancellations, diversions etc are more important.
He is more than welcome to join this forum.

So how does it work? Does the CC have a list and do they come and speak to you before service starts or do they ask as they're coming through the cabin with the trolley?
