Does one of tomorrow's flights now officially carry the 'Party Plane' mantel? Really sorry for everyone who was disappointed today – can you get on to any of tomorrow's flights? There is plenty of availability...

No idea. Perhaps he's doing the afternoon flight again?

I got automatically rebooked on 457 tomorrow morning. Seat by the toilet, as forward cabin is full. I was able to check in on app but on a website it tells me to confirm change and then doesn't go through. Not sure if I want to spend half of the evening on a phone to BA to confirm I'm ok to fly, if I checked in via app but not confirmed change on website.

Hopefully what ever damage has been sustained can be fixed fairly quickly. There must have been a lot of stuff blowing around the apron today.

Yes, damaged, not necessarily on the ground. Bird strike?

I'm truly sorry to those affected by this, after all the effort to get to this point it must be really disappointing.

Apparently the flaps were broken / damaged during the go around.

Should add: I was not on the flight, someone I knew was and the captain said something along those lines

Interesting...from the video posted up thread it was quite clear the go-round was initiated relatively early in the approach....certainly before Twickenham rugby ground hoves into view out of the window. So perhaps not a weather related go-around, but a technical one??

That's such a shame for everyone on the evening rotation today I wonder if tomorrow mornings rotation will stay a 777 - I doubt the evening one will, I can see me being busted back down to an 319. Ah well, still get a little trip to Madrid.
