I know at least two of us here were rebooked on the earlier delayed flight. We were downgraded to economy and I was given a refund as about of cash and avios.

Technically we arrived back earlier than the delayed flight and we were refunded the difference between club and economy.

Other than having to rush through security and to the plane we financially are better off than if we had gotten the original flight.

Would I be able to claim under the regulations? Or does it look like BA did everything they needed to?

What I imagine is the issue here is that I arrived earlier than we would have done on the A350 (Although In the middle seat and not a suite!).
interesting. I was rebooked on delayed earlier flight and asked about some refund. BAEC are dealing with it apparently but nothing confirmed yet

I'm not sure it's valid to claim that FR24 forward-predicts based on historical data. Aircraft type, and tail number, are generally sourced from schedule and flight plan data that BA makes available from it's private internal systems.

I’m check in at the airport for BA464. Still showing 351 on all systems. Haven’t spotted the plane yet.

Edit: Looking Good. Just towed to C-Gates stand.

All I know is that BA.com, MMB and EF are all currently holding the line on it being the A351. I’m in MAD ready to join the 465 tonight and I guess XBWA will get spotted on her way to a T5 B or C gate before long (or not)...

It was showing a 321 Neo last Weds and never changed to the 351 I flew on.

Not sure if it helps but expert flyer is showing the A350 seat map for today's 464 and it looks quite busy, especially down the back...up front in CE the middle rows are quite clear but most windows are taken.

Should be boarding about now so hopefully we'll hear for sure soon enough. ^

EDIT: just seen the wiki updates, I'll do the graphics for todays 464/465 now! Hope you have a safe trip!

BA app is showing 1645 departure and 2024 arrival so presumably a slot delay. Heathrow app just says gate C52 open. Fingers crossed for everybody.

Yes, further back in the thread it was showing in the app for Euro 169 IIRC, standard pricing for the 'normal' flights, I believe it was George77300 that posted that info. Many Golds in WT were brought up to CW Suites on board for free on some flights (admittedly not likely tonight due to trying to get anyone that was stuck from yesterday back to their destinations but maybe worth knowing about/consider for a future flight (no guarantees though obviously!)

Fingers crossed, I've update the graphics for the wiki and will hope that brings some positive karma your way...BTW, if the a350 goes tonight (465 return) it will be the official PARTY PLANE (II) as 8 FTers on board and that is the highest of the remaining flights so far...

Safe travels, wiki updated to this post.
