I was trying the options for that but the price seems to shoot up unless you have an overnight in the route from what I have found so far.

You can also do that via LCY and the baby bus.

Anyone found anything decent to MIA October time. Best I can find is circa £1,300.

That definitely counts as decent, I'm afraid. I can knock off £15 by departing from Warsaw but that and more will go onto the positioning flight.

Don't forget the option of back-to-back the night before with AMS - you can do the 1800 out and the 2145 back from LHR to keep costs down (and do the same on your return if you need to be in work!)

CAI-HNL £1,147 now next spring / summer. This has come done from more recent times?

Great price but that's not enough to entice me to CAI right now, I'm afraid.

You can even score up to 1280 tier points if you manage to play around with the fare

No you can't easily on that fare, as it only allows 1 transfer in Europe on AA fare (so can't make it on AA £1111 fare).

Can get 1280TPs only on BA base fare, but the surcharges are higher so we are talking £1300-ish for that.

Wonder if someone could help or offer advice

Mid September i am looking to go - CGK/KUL/BKK (any) - LHR- LAS-LAX-CGK

Need about 4 days in London, couple each in LAX and LAS

Dont mind buying two tickets either ex EU or CAI for the US trip

I have been looking on Google but the cheapest i come up with is around £6k

I can get the Asia-Europe for around £2k but the US trip is coming up a lot more

Thanks in advance

I was thinking of the following routing:
CAI-LHR-CDG-ORD-MIA-LAX-HNL and backward. I think you have to use a TA to arrange for you such booking.

This should not work on the cheap AA fare, as it only allows 1 European transit. Also both AA and slightly more expensive BA fare only allow 2 US transits.

Hence this is a NO GO.

I'd do it all on one ticket.

Might be one for a travel agent with those flight numbers but it can be done for £50 more with BA flight numbers. It's an I-class sale fare that allows stopovers - the full fare code is ISALEMS.

It does mean that you do LAX-KUL eastbound, which is nearly 50% further. I've no idea what that would do to your jetlag - good or bad. Edit: in the circumstances this might be a good case for the afternoon departure from LAX and a long layover in London - you'll be tired by the time of your flight to KUL but jetlag in London could be the same as adjusting to KL time.
