I've put together an exLHR trip.
What cabin on the AA B737 will it be in?
What TP would be earned?
Also would they off load the luggage or keep it for the long layover?
Cheers (first post)

You will be in the Domestic First seats on the AA 737 (sold as Business for international services). Post 4 in this thread will give you more information on the possible seats: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...-products.html

For a 42hr layover, you will retrieve your luggage, and then check it in again prior to your PTY sector.

And welcome to FT

On behalf of the Ambassador Team welcome to the BA Board AliBaker and Flyertalk.

In answer to your TP question that would be 140 + 40 so 180 and 360 for the round trip.

There is a fair bit of info in the BA Forum Dashboard on a multitude of things but in the meantime feel free to ask any questions you may have or indeed any contributions!

Happy postings

Pete

Not that cheap though. exARN SIN seems cheapest at ~£1200, BKK from ~£1700.

I blame it all on the post Brexit Mother May election effects on the £.

I am surprised though to not see BKK as the cheapest Southeast Asian destination because I think it usually was.

I'm not so sure it's anything to do with the £.

I booked a QR flight literally just a few weeks ago in another recent flash sale ARN-SIN for less than £1081 which I have now flown.

£1200 to places like SIN in J is still an excellent deal though.

(though not premium, HKG in Y is £410 from my home airport, EDI, which is a real bargain and I'm about to pull the trigger on that one)

BKK is sub £1200 from HEL if that's your preferred destination. Nice plane choices too, unlike the VCE fare that never seems to go away.

I thought HEL-DOH was still an A320?

Looks to be changing to a 787 some time around 18th September (according to google flights). Whether that happens remains to be seen!

Probably worth keeping expectations of a A320 until evidence of a change.
