Cheers. I've taken it for now. Is rj.com at t-72hrs still the best way to try and snap up 15a and 15k if they're not already taken do you know?

Is seat 1A missing a window on 77L?

We’re flying to Heathrow soon
the aircraft type seems to be a 777-200 with no first but club suites (77L)

no one is choosing seat 1A currently
So I suspect that it is missing a window

can’t find any updated information on seat guru
would anyone like to confirm about it

thank you

Seats 1A and 1K on long haul flights (and all of row 1 on short haul) are restricted to Gold (or above) members until approx. 24 hours before departure. That's probably why they are still free.

There’s no gold restriction on row 1 in Club World. Only in F and Club Europe.

Yes, or RAM if it's not available. Not totally guaranteed to work, but often does.

I thought this, but as a bronze I’ve got 1K on an F redemption in over a month’s time. This despite 1F and 2F still being unoccupied and F2 A1 availability, i.e. it doesn’t seem to be a case of snagging the last seat.

Question for the 777 aficionados. I am travelling on a 77G on Wednesday. Currently in extra legroom 29C but 28 J&K are free. Row 28 is bassinet but cant tell if these have extra legroom. I am also wondering if I select one of the seats in 28 if the other would likely be blocked as I am BA gold. What would the travel pros on here advise?

Managed to do it 10 mins before t-72. I saw all bassinets were free so went on rj and chose 15k

Weirdly, the ba app home page shows 15k. If I go into manage my book it says 15f confirmed. Who knows what's going on. Website all says 15k as expected. Now to hope I don't get moved

Welp, looks like my flight from IAD-LHR next Friday (BA292) was switched from a 77M (CS) to a 77R (old product). The return flight on April 5 is still showing a 77M on ExpertFlyer, but a 77R on Seatguru so I'm not holding my breath.

What a bummer.

Any seat suggestions for 2 people on the 77M with the old biz product? 15A/K are the only 2 window seats with direct aisle access right? Of course those are both already taken...

Slim chance the aircraft gets swapped out again since the flight is only a week away, right?

Read through all 130 pages of this thread as I have a booking for LGW-MCO and wanted advice for a good seat. I have selected 4K on what appears to be a 32J version, either a 77S or 77T. I couldn't find much info on the access to the seat but I have come accross a video showing a reasonable amount of 4A whch I believe is a mirror image of 4K. It also shows a good view of the window arrangement i.e. the missing window.

I think the link will take you to the relevant part of the video but it is at 21:02 if not

There are a couple of pictures of 4A on this config in this Turning Left For Less flight review https://www.turningleftforless.com/m...k-to-barbados/, 4K is the mirror image. You'll get a private little space with direct aisle access, it just depends how much the missing window is going to bother you.

Can anyone clarify whether seat 8K on a 77M has a window or not?

It looks like it may on the seat map, but I swear I saw a video on Youtube where they said it did not.

BA Club Suites 777

Sorry this has probably been asked (or similar 1000 times already).

Is 1A a good seat for a solo traveller on this aircraft?

Thanks
