Hmm, struggling with this .
I'm looking at the Vienna route. How can I tell if these 'new' fares have loaded?
Is there a new selection in the drop-down (at the mo I just get to choose between 'Lowest Price' and 'Flexible')?
Anyways ... once I select Lowest price - Choose the 'with Checked Bag' column - click through to Price / Check your flights ... I see the following in the changes & cancellations blurb "Note - a change is a date/flight/routing/booking code change" [ie. Apparently flight NOT flexible on the day in my case]
(My bold).
Do I just need to wait a while for these all to load up across the system?
For a bonus, Do we know if work Travel Agents will get these fares? (or are they ba.com only)

As there are some destinations that can't be priced in economy at the moment, I suspect that loading is still going on.

Indeed. Doesn't feel like its going smoothly
Three of my routes not showing these new options yet .. and two of them intermittently report 'selected cabin is not available on this route' (eg. Economy!)
Thus a bit early to report back what prices really are, and how they compare to yesterday.
Oh ... MMB now seems to have gone down for my other bookings.

I don't seem to be able to see any HBO fares now. Just "economy" and "Business". Initial fare searches show that the "economy" fare hasn't changed too much though, which is good.
Incidentally, I just got an email from BA asking how my recent visit to ba.com was!

impact on Avios/TP earning
Is there any impact on the avios or more importantly TP earning with this?
In the past when doing online booking, you could choose the cheapest non-flexible option, and then at the next stage upgrade one or both legs to semi-flex, often for a small price increase, this would move you into a booking class giving 50% av/TP instead of 25%
Is this option now unavailable with the only choice being to go to fully flexible (with corresponding larger price difference)? or do all with bags fares automatically go into the middle booking classes?
I guess its a similar issue with booking classes that qualify for UUA.
thx

Update on Short Haul fares
Hi all,
An update on current status of new short haul prices.
Heathrow & London City routes
New fares were filed last night.
Gatwick routes
New fares being filed tonight.
ba.com
Currently experiencing some performance issues resulting in Hand Baggage Only prices not being displayed.
We are working to resolve this as soon as possible.

TXL in June
The initial screen offers:
- HBO: from £48 each way, actually £94 total (no change).
- With checked bag: £764 fully flex fare (next screen says standard and semi-flex “sold out”)
- Club Europe from £390 going out, not available on the return
Selecting HBO gives on the next screen:
- HBO semi-flex: +£235 = £329, but selecting it gives £359 with bags
- HBO fully-flex: +£640 = £734, but selecting it gives £764 with bags
So the fares actually available for purchase in Euro Traveller are:
- HBO: £94
- Semi-flex: £359
- Fully-flex: £764
So big fare hikes unless you fly HBO, and premature release with lots of IT bugs ...

In summary the problems I noticed include:
1. BA fares page only has space for 2 of the 3 types of ET fares.
2. For TXL if you select the flexible fare, it claims that the less flexible fares are sold out.
3. No CE fare is available for the return.
4. Intermediate pages quote prices for flexible HBO fares which do not seem to exist.
Is this peculiar to LHR-TXL, or do other routes have the same problems?
