I'm really sorry but the restaurant is full at the moment, see my post further upthread, so I'll add you to the standby list. I haven't heard from the place if any more spaces are available but I will be on Monday and post back here.

There is the meet up before and afterwards so if it is the case for the standbys to get together for a meal elsewhere then we all meet up again that will be great. However, this isn't what I want and I really hope I can get everyone together at the same time in the restaurant.

In fact, I am going to take the bull by the horns and call them right now rather than wait until Monday.

As Arnie would say "I'LL BE BACK"

I had a booking for both the Hilton Grovesnor and Waldorf Astoria (WA in reward.) Hilton currently showing as sold out. Just canceled the Hilton and but don't know if this will just go back into ordinary inventory or if they may have even oversold so room won't become available.

Good news!

Jnr PETER01 is coming with me and the restaurant got back to me this morning and I have secured a cancellation. So we can now have 40 in total

Now, we have 3 standbys:

EDI_Martin

skye1

callahan44

I've PM'd you so if I could have a reply please that would be great!

TangoIndiaMike, can you confirm if you are able to come? I received a PM yesterday but I can't make it out for some reason. Many thanks.

I've added your flights and hotel to the wiki, but not added your name to the list as Peter01 will be keeping an eye on this.

Speaking of which, the wiki says there are 37 people attending, but only lists 36 including +1s. Do we have a mystery guest, Peter01? I think you may have mentioned this previously!

Thanks ^

Maths was never my strong point and I'll go and do a recount.

Yes we do have a mystery guest but I can't say who she is!

Well that will give us something to think about on BA1448 on the way up on Saturday. Perhaps we should have a sweep stake? I already have my choice, but wonder if they would actually travel in cattle class?
