I've been looking again at venues, trying to negotiate a decent deal so I'll update the thread shortly. Very central location (s) though and Edinburgh isn't a massive place and easy to get around/to the chosen venue.

5 weeks tomorrow

I have decided NOT to go to the CCR on the day of the Do like last year so as the host I definitely won't be late for this one! (famous last words eh? )

I booked the Grovesnor for £89 and then realised I had a reward night voucher for Hikton so have booked the Waldorf. Not yet cancelled my Grovesnor booking. The prices now are ridiculous.

I will be in the flounge along with a few others (I hope!) Can we drag Karfa and Tobias_UK away from the LPGS to savour the delights of the Tattinger or Castlenau!

If one believes the comments on FT the GF is very overcrowded these days. I can't speak for Tobias-UK, but I wouldn't want to add to the problem

Just got freed up for this weekend, and whilst medics won't let me travel longhaul yet, this looks do-able.

I will look thru the thread & see what's on for flights, hotels, etc and see what I can book (if prices haven't soared). Always an amazingly great time at these!

Myself and OH (small_clanger) can now make this Do - looking forward to meeting those we've not met before at a London or Jersey Do.

I am afraid I can't make this one as it will likely be my first weekend after changing jobs!

I hope you all have a great time. Maybe see some of you at the next London do?

I'll announce it this weekend/Monday but it will definitely be very city centre/George Street (which runs parallel to Princes Street) and also just a few minutes from the train station.

If your name is in the Wiki and you cannot make it please let me know. Thanks
