No poll, so get it in your diary folks. I'm glad folks enjoyed it and the wee pub around the corner was perfect for afterdrinks
Unlike flights I see you're able to reserve more than 355 days ahead!!

BTW: Thanks for arranging the event PETER01. Excellent night, thoroughly enjoyed the evening + so good to meet so many 'names' finally.

One suggestion: Maybe next year we should do a buffet, that way, more chance to mingle. Also, Happy to help organise the next one. Just my tuppence worth.

Ha! It was just a date in the air and more than likely the end of May when It's a little warmer and I see the sporting event too. (thanks for that madfish)

Yes I think I'll look for somewhere different and as you say a buffet for a change as the meal is very fixed so to speak. Your tuppence worth is very important! so always happy to get feedback. ^

I'll start looking earlier next time and I am sure I will come up with something. Private room, buffet, space to move around etc.

I enjoyed the restaurant and did not see anything wrong with the way it worked. Many people do stand up and wonder around as the night goes on.

However, a (well stocked ) buffet would also be grand.

I'd be happy with whatever you deem convenient and easiest, PETER01. Yes, a stand up affair like London is nice and certainly starts to work better if the numbers increase significantly, but the restaurant environment was good and I enjoyed the company and conversation of my seat neighbors just fine. Between the pub before and events after there was ample time to mingle, too. I can see how for some the night will be shorter and the meal is the main part of the interaction, in which case confinement to a single table is less than ideal.

Thank you Peter01 for organising a great Do. It was good to catch up with FTers and meet new people.
