I've paid a £100 deposit when I booked it for all of us so that is £2.50 each

It seems a small amount to ask I know but if you could all pay me prior to the meal I would really appreciate that so I am not out of pocket. £100 will of course be take off the final bill.

Perhaps it would be easier if groups of 2 or 4 paid me £5 or £10 respectively @:-) as I don't want to be weighed down with £100 ish worth of coins!

If anyone has any queries then PM me or if you want my mobile number so you know where we are in the Standing Order then feel free to ask. All the details are in the Wiki though including a map etc.

Thanks very much folks and hope you all have a fantastic weekend here in Edinburgh ^^^

Hope the pre DO events tonight and tomorrow morning go well and that the host shows up for the main event this time

The weather was forecast to be a bit cool but that will just make the warm companionship all the better me thinks. @:-)

Enjoy and safe travels everyone.
Hope to see you at another Do BotB and sorry you can't make this one.

We'll raise a glass to absent FTr's

We arrived in Edinburgh this morning and checked into the Hilton. Then we grabbed some lunch before jumping on the train to Burntishead to pick up the Fife coastal path for a lovely walk in the warm sunshine. It's been a lovely day so far - made even better by the drinks we are now enjoying in the pub!

Nicely worded. If only there was still a thread for such things

I'll also be there so hope to bump in to you Calchas. And if you find you have more than 1 taker for the spot then feel free to suggest they PM me

Looking forward to it. On the metro heading to NCL at the moment. That gives me about 3 hours in the lounge.

Been trying to check in for the hotel since yesterday and was not giving me a choice of rooms and the pre-assigned room was rubbish. Just checked again and managed to get an upgrade from a queen to a King and some decent views as well.

I arrived at EDI

After 10 min waiting for the anti bomb team to arrive at the train station I gave up and took a taxi to T1. 5 minutes and 12 Euros later I was at security. I hope this was just someone forgetting it's luggage and not anything bad.

I am going to see a friend for coffee then I will be at the Hilton Grosvenor.

Didn't see the £2.50 deposit bit! Yikes. Is it too late?

En route to Edinburgh from The North.
