Loads in May though.

Looking at options of getting to Zurich. RFS isn't available on my preferred day (and sold out for cash in ET except for close to £600 for CE) and don't really want to pay £100+ / blow 30,000 points for a hotel in Zurich if I can get away with it.

Could try the 45 min back-to-back but seems tight and risky from what I've read.

Failing that, perhaps using the 777 instead of the A380 on the outbound gives some leeway.
On top of the avios, how much more is it in taxes to UUA? Thanks

Cost me around £13 for my ARN-BOS-JFK-LHR-ARN flights but should be no more than £113. £80 or less is an average figure.

Mind if I enquire what routing got you to 720 TP's? I can force multiple stop-overs in both directions getting to / from Houston, but given it's less than the >2000K mileage sweet spot, I just am adding lots of 40 TP's to my account.

You can do something like AMS-LHR-JFK-LAX-IAH-LAX-JFK-LHR-CDG to net 720 TPs.

Thanks rossmacd ^

I just noticed fare rules say tickets must be issued by tomorrow for anyone thinking about booking.

TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/BEFORE 06JAN 17.

AMS-LHR-JFK-PHX-IAH-PHX-JFK-LHR-CDG is what I've got. If you want to add more, you can also route via DUB and/or MAN for an additional 40 or 20 respectively.

Out of interest, how would you throw a DUB and/or MAN into the mix? Using EI metal?

The Swiss WTP fare can be 277CHF cheaper for 40k Avios. Assuming you'll earning 50k-ish on the 3x Promo, I'm thinking of throwing a Joker and a GUF at it to make the total cost around £250 return, I'll be in CE/CW and when the miles post I'll be 10k-ish Avios better off, plus 210 TPs.

Unless my maths is off?

The ticket will let you route AMS-LHR-MAN/DUB-JFK/PHL-...etc. Timing are awkward but did manage to get it coming up earlier. Requires the AMS-LHR to be on a BA code.

Edit: just realised I wrote and/or, meant to be just or!

Seems about right.

I have something like 14236 Avios earned + 100% bonus = 28572.
3 x base of 14236 = 42828 Avios + 14236 bonus (if gold) = 57064 Avios

May lose 3000 or so if I accidently miss my LHR-ZRH/GVA flight.....

I've just booked it. Only used 11500 Avios for a 101CHF discount in the end. Now I'll GUF and Joker it.

Off topic, what does joker mean?
