Shame you missed BA's WTP extravaganza yesterday!

But yeah, wait for QR's Monday sale. BKK is a regular sale route.

Playing with LON-NYC next year and found some good deals in Sept.

Sub £2K LCY-JFK rtn on the baby bus.

£1250 return leg from JFK-LHR in F if the outbound is booked into either J (£1097) or F (£1447)

Sample dates are 12th-19th Sept '17 although these fares appear to be available most of the week.

Some remnants of the AMS sale fares are still lurking around, AMS>YVR (Vancouver) is available for £1,270 with BA via LHR (A380 route in the summer) for those looking for a West Coast destination. YVR can used as a spring board for some of AA's TP runs as well.

AMS>Toronto/Montreal still pricing up around £1,181 as well with BA (Transatlantic on the B787)

Ive been trying to get the same deal I got last year for the following
DUB-LHR-JFK-LAX/LAX-LIH//LIH-LAX-JFK-LHR/LCY-DUB First was about 2600
Only fare coming up now is 4970 with ba.com or with BA reservations. Is there a specific department to speak with at BA to get the correct fare. I gave them flight details, numbers, booking classes. Lost contact with Dutch.... :-(

What makes you think that the same fare is available again this year? And even if it is, what makes you think that there is availability in the correct booking classes for it? Knowing those things might help to debug the problem.

Well that's clearly using the ex-Dub sale fare which doesnt exist this year. The higher price is the 'correct' price because that is the price!

They're very easy to reach (20 second hold time after you select Option 2, then Option 4) and I've found them to be quite helpful.

Thanks - hadn't spotted there was now an MH forum. Unfortunately the email address doesn't appear to work anymore (and I can't find a new one). No problem - will call as you suggest

For those who missed the WTP deal to SIN...

You can do the East coast from Switzerland for around €630.
Or from TRN for €600
Also available is SFO and LAX from TRN for €640.

Basically try Italian airports as a starting point.

Very interesting with the current 3x Avios promo.

Writing a deal from Switzerland to the US for crediting to a British FFP in Euros is the weirdest thing I've seen in a long time

(also looks like all the TRN deals include an LGW-LHR change)

Then try a different Italian airport...

And you should definitely get out more if this is weird to you.

"The correct fare"...oh dear.

Fares change all the time unfortunately, you getting a good deal last year doesn't mean that is always the price.

There has been a lot worse...not long ago there was a mass migration to Norway to take advantage of an even better deal.

The good old days!

It's mainly the "pricing it out in Euros" part I find weird, given the nature of the deal.

Ah, yes. I search on the Dutch or UK Google site. Don't feel like calculating it back to CHF. Italy is still allowed to be part of the Euro Zone.

Sweden is even better as a starting point. €530 to the East and €570 to the West... Don't want to recalculate that either. (And I thought that one had vanished but I was wrong)
