Ive found myself on G-CIVV in 52K on the same route (LHR-JFK) entirely by chance - look forward too the new 52K to JFK (perhaps with some 64A thrown in too
I notice the Super J's are going to be all across the network next Summer, including up gauging of BA53/52, the early flight to Seattle from a 777-200. Quite the jump in capacity up front!

62A is a great seat - window seat with direct aisle access and endless legroom
62B is an aisle seat facing in the other direction (CW ying-yang formation)

On BA112 which is scheduled to be a 86J but not many decent seats left, currently in 13AB. I take it the 2 toilets in front are for first? Was hoping to get some sleep, would the noise be bothersome? Also does meal service/ordering start at the front?
Thanks
Matt

Club World passengers on the lower deck can use the three washrooms around the Doors 2 area.

Yes, the two washrooms adjacent to Door 1L are for First passengers only and are separated from Club World by a curtain and rope. This can be seen in this diagram: http://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/...5-seatmap.html

well despite getting a message from expertyflyer saying that my aircraft had changed to a 74S BA113 today was IVY and at least upstairs she was very tired. My headset didn't work and the scree was of about 2005 vintage and was such low resolution and so dim it wasn't worth watching.
I guess 10 or more years ago when IVY was last updated it seemed modern but now its not an acceptable quality for business class.
It wasn't just the entertainment system that was tired the whole cabin was in urgent need of an update.
