I am in the similar situation. Did it work for you?

My family has their QR miles in their accounts. When I try to add them into my account, new QR PC accounts are being created for them and there is no way to transfer from their old account. I have already transferred miles from their old QR PC to their BA account. Now, can I transfer from their BA to new QR PC (by unlinking old PC / linking new PC)? will it result in points being deposited in to my (HoH) QR PC account?

Separately, if my account has 0 Avios and my house hold account has some non-zero Avios, can I still do a redemption? Because as per the terms, the miles are deducted pro-rated.

Is it possible to chance the head of a household account?

The account was origionaly set up by my father but he got a divorce and now I am effectively the one running the account. So is there a way to make me the new head of family account?

I seem to remember that HHA was only applicable to UK and US residents at least in the beginning. Is it still true today? One of my relatives is thinking of moving their address to Asia and want to know if there is an impact to HHA.

My HHA is based in Asia but I have a UK residence too. Can I move my address to the UK to take advantage of long haul RFS and leave the family as they are.

So I spoke with BA and they are saying they can change it but require me to send in my proof of address and it can take up to 28 days. Is that correct?

HHA Avios transfer charge?

I'm Gold but my wife is Blue as she's not been able to fly for some time.
We transferred her Avios to me and had to pay. Any way to recover that
since I'm Gold?

I very much doubt it. You agreed to pay the fee, no?

If you're in a HHA together, why on earth would you have done a transfer rather than just... spend what you have together??

ETA: ah oh I have seen your profile location. Rhetorical question then

"would you have done a transfer rather than just... spend what you have together??"

As I said, she's
unable to fly.

The $50 charge for 35K Avios was worth it in that it basically gave a R/T J LHR-OSL.
Perhaps of marginal value but those Avios were on the brink of expiring so totally worth it.
