Concorde Room (CCR) LHR : menus 2013

Concorde Room (CCR) LHR : menus from 13 March 2014

Here is the 2014 Concorde Room (LHR T5 airside) menu. All items are ordered from the lounge hosts, who can also bring you items from the Flounge menu and buffet. These items are not advertised in CCR itself, so this link may come in handy:
Galleries First (Flounge) LHR: Dining menu and food options 2013

Another old link with some useful comments on it is here:
Concorde Room LHR T 5 - dining menu

And this thread gives some background to the change in catering supplier from Compass / Restaurant Associates
New lounge catering contract : BaxterStorey replaces Compass - eff 1 Mar 2013

The menu changes every 6 months, and there is quite an overlap with the Flounge menu. The pre flight Supper menu has gone, so it is one menu throughout the day.

Photos of items from this menu can be seen here.

We are flying out tomorrow BA27 to HKG, F, will we be able to order something off the breafast menu, eg smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or eggs benedict, as we only want to eat something light, before eating on the aircraft^

My tip when flying F on a daytime flight is always to eat enough so that you delay the meal service until 2 hours after take off. By this time the crew will be finishing the meal service for anyone who has not requested an individual dining time and they will be able to tailor your food more individually (important for beef dishes for instance) as well as give you more personalised service.

Note that the "freshly prepared waffles" should lack the terminal S as you are served only one.

When does it change from breakfast to main menu?

Midday if I recall correctly.

The menus will change at the end of this month when BS take over as the caterer.

They may oblige if the kitchen is quiet, but breakfast items are definitely off the menu at 1200.

There are usually lighter items from non-breakfast menu though. For instance "Butternut squash ravioli, roasted butternut purée, dressed rocket" in the menu that C-W-S posted was very light and was definitely suitable even if you are planning to eat shortly after boarding the aircraft.

You may also be able to get breakfast items from Plane Food at odd hours, although I'm not certain. Their phone number is +44 208 897 4545.

Indeed, and they were both rather pleasant (and the venison warm!) when I sampled.

Many thanks to Moomba, Tobias-UK and BAGoldBoy for their tips, the main thread has now been updated.

The pre flight menu changes every month (and apparently a new one is due shortly too). It is served in CCR and T3 (eligible flights only).

As noted elsewhere, beef is currently off the menu for the time being, but will return shortly.

It is not on the menu, but if you ask, and the right chef is on duty, you may well get it. I've had one in the past, at any rate. For full English they normally ask you how you want your eggs, the default is scrambled eggs.

Black pudding is not on the menu but is available on request (also on request in Flounge, both T3 and T5).
