Flew to LHR on Thursday, then LHR to AMS, AMS-LHR, LHR-BOS and BOS-SJU on Friday (technically Saturday for the last flight as it was an hour late leaving due to snow and de-icing). Then did the SJU-LAS run on Saturday and on Sunday started the LAS-SJU run (in MCO right now waiting for the 7:35am flight to MIA). Got SJU-MIA and MIA-LHR this evening and then finally I can sleep - managed about 4hrs tops so far - couldn't even fall asleep in my hotel but that was probably because I was in Vegas and some kind americans invited me to a party!
Time zones are confusing. Would be nice if my laptop bothered updating or even my phone but I have to keep doing them manually.
Stupidly didn't record the take-off from McCarran yesterday. Dusk and Vegas was lit up but you could still see everything as it wsn't dark enough. Absolutely beautiful seeing the Strip and being able to make out aspects of the desert.

Not the greatest pic, but you get the idea...

BA I7SALE fares ex LUX Question.
On BA.com the I7SALE fare (or rather the T&Cs) state that tickets must be issued before Jan 30th. However ITA matrix fare rules state February 5th?
This for LUX HNL LUX in August for the family. Not keen on booking this side of february as the Amex 241 start date is Feb 1st . I got caught out last year by spending on Jan 31st and losing out.
Which is correct?

Having said that, I'd also take a second opinion!

Thank you, I think you are right as I have just checked the BRU originating fare on Matrix and that has changed from Jan 30th. Suspect the extension has not been announced on BA.com yet.

Another question.
Trying to route LUX or BRU to HNL depart 4 or 5 August return 22 or 23 Aug. Considering BRU LHR DFW HNL as flat bed all the way but understand it requires night stop DFW. Thats fine, but on return HNL DFW only booking in Y and noting I do on Matrix will change this. It means a long layover DFW on return but a day room by a pool with the kids is fine. I do however want the comfort and also the AA F class tier points.

I searched BRU,LUX::LHR DFW Aug 4+1 day -> HNL::DFW LHR Aug 22+1 day and it returned First for both DFW-HNL flights.

The Royal Jordanian AMM-AQJ flight mentioned in the Wikipost books in to J, not I fare code.
Royal Jordanian I fare code is non earning with BAEC, even though it is a business fare bucket, albeit the cheapest one.

Looks like my plan of LAS-SJU in May is a now not going to happen. Been holding off booking to see if we were going to fly again before then, price was £515. Just looked now to book and it's over £1,200

I'm still figuring out my tier runs for this summer; maybe I had better book sooner rather than later...

Yeah I didn't bother looking further than the first page on AA because they were all >£1200. The cheaper ones are on page 3

Nealy missed a connection today. We were on the plane at MCO for a 7:35am take-off and it went tech. The AA reported app 8:15am, which is more than the pilot knew, and we did take-off around 50 mins late. Some people did miss their MIA connections but luckily mine was a full flight and delayed by a few minutes. Still took me a good 15mins of fast walking to get from gate 16 to 42. Even broke a sweat.
Did go for the train but missed one by seconds after going up 2 floors to get to it and then back down when I decided not to risk waiting.
Did have over an hour spare so was going to get a shower perhaps at the AA lounge (unless they charge something stupid like $35) but missed out on that as no time.
Anyway mid 80s in San Juan today and nicely sunburnt!
Now please make my MIA-LHR flight empty. WT+ seems sold out, F empty, CW fairly full and Y still wide open according to flightstats and BA are still selling Y seats for £287 so the cheapest fare buckets must be open.
Still betting:
[a] full
[b] empty except for 2 random people in my row

10 + 35 + 370 + 370 + 10 + 35 = 830 when they all post.
First 45 from BA have appeared.
As said, it would have been a lot more if I had managed to get WT+ fares to MFU.
Wasn't willing to pay £1800 return when it was £768 the following week.
Seems to be sold out now so either popular or a lot of MFUs.
Pretty much had 1 flight out of 8 on AA that wasn't totally full in both classes. Asians heading to the East coast, and from LA. Hispanics from MCO.
At least I've learnt that the seatbelt sign being on means "get up if you feel like it, pop to the toilet or whatever". No cabin crew turn a hair at this.
Also, if you lean on the bar on a security door at McCarran (one that gives you direct access to runways and planes), and the alarm goes off, even after an hour, you're guaranteed no security personal, or any airport staff, will pay attention to it.
